Obviously damaged HDD, the sound as if the heads were parked on the plate. Replace the HDD and the laptop will "flicker".
PS. The HDD is pulled out from the side. On youtube, search for E6400 HDD replacement.

So nothing can be done about it, you have to buy a new disk? And where can I find such a disk? Can it be an ordinary disk like a computer or what it looks like because I don't know much about laptops. After entering even in google e6400, the drive has no offers, allegro also nothing

the disc cannot be removed, or at least I cannot.

It should be enough to unscrew two screws and eject the HDD with a pocket (or service remains.)
Looking at the sound, it rather remains to replace the HDD.

You can ask what to buy - 2.5 "HDD or SSD depending on your needs and budget.

Yes, you want a 2.5 SATA drive.

Better look at the new disks, because when used or "refubrished" they wind the noodles around the ears. Roulette. Years come or it is about to die.

I bought this disk and now the question is is it possible to somehow recover data from this old disk? you would probably need to replace the electronics?

Not electronics, the drive is mechanically damaged, if the data was valuable, take it to a professional company dealing with recovery.
