Hi everyone, I wanted to ask you for help / advice.
I bought a VR on PS4, connected it and wanted to configure it. However, the system cannot see the CAMERA.
The camera enters the PS4 aux socket, which looks like this:
After thinking about what is wrong, I started to look at the aux socket (new webcam, rather not clef). It turned out that the middle contacts were bent maximum and down. I tried them straightforward. It looks like this:
I lost hope that this method would succeed.
The question is, is there an alternative to connecting this camera? Maybe some adapters? But I did not find on the net. Maybe you know something to advise?
Repair comes into play after the new year, I was told, but I have to settle the topic for Christmas because it's a gift from parents and grandparents for a child.
The ultimate last resort is to buy a new console and repair and sell the old one, but I would love to avoid it.
I am asking for advice.
I will answer myself because I solved the problem.
1. There are no adapters. Webcam only in the AUX port.
2. I straightened the contacts with great care with a needle, it took a bit and I had a bad feeling but it WORKS strangely.
It was worth a try.
Regards and Merry Christmas
