Hello, I have a vectre c 1.8 2003. namely, I have a problem that the blower only works in 4th gear, I read that it could be a blower resistor, it was replaced with a new one and still nothing. Anyone have an idea what else could it be?

And you bought a new resistor, isn't 123 spinning at all?

I bought a new one, but it still doesn't spin at 1,2,3

I will add that the air flow went elegantly for 2 suddenly jumped to the highest speed and went out, since then it works only for 4, I also checked if the blower is not blurred, but everything is okay.

    Can you write something more?
Have you replaced the fan controller with a "brand new" or a "different" one?
Can you use the diagnoscope to start the blower?
    Clear air conditioning faults.
Sometimes the blower won't start without clearing the errors.
Helpful post? Buy me a coffee.

Since it has 4 gears it's a ceramic resistor, if it's good, it's a broken switch.

Tomorrow, if I find the time, I will jump to fix the errors, it is a replacement. Switch, showing the regulator of airflow speed change? but if I put on 4 and it works, is it possible that only on 123 it doesn't work? I will add that in my friend's vc when the resistor burned to him, when turning on one was heard one-hole popping, and here nothing.
    I haven't tried the diagnoscope.

you have to unmount the plastic under the handlebar board and get to the back of the box

golden shot, the relay is dead, thanks a lot for the tip.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2003 Vectra C 1.8 experiencing a blower malfunction, where the blower only operates in the fourth speed despite replacing the blower resistor. Users suggest various troubleshooting steps, including checking the fan controller, using a diagnostic tool to clear air conditioning faults, and inspecting the switch for airflow speed regulation. A faulty relay under the board is also mentioned as a potential issue, with instructions provided for accessing it. The original poster confirms that the blower does not function at speeds 1, 2, or 3, and expresses intent to further diagnose the problem.
