I once had Zafira with this engine. It goes a little over 4 liters 5w30.

All 3 varieties 1.9 theoretically swallow 4.3 liters with filter change

The min-max bay is 0.7 liters

Hello! I have to exchange oil in Vectra C 1.9 CDTI 120 km without DPF theoretically run 300,000. Currently, it is flooded with ELF 5W / 40 oil. From the change to the change, i.e. around 15,000, it will go down from the ruler but I will not top it up. The problem is that the turbo is all wet and very wet, including the bottom of the engine, but the sequence is correct and silent. The engine works a little louder because I have a comparison because my friend has a car with this engine. I want to pour motor oil MOTUL SYNERGIE + 6100 10W40. The question is I going in the right direction?

    Hello

That 10W40 is going in the right direction because with this course a thicker oil is recommended.

    greetings

In what good direction !! ??
Eliminate the leak and pour as best oil as you did not sleep. Probably the loss is just a leak. Do not torture the engines with any gestures. So in the understanding of what a larger leak is the "thicker" oil ???? So what's the last stage of this towot ??

OK turbo I can regenerate and what about the louder engine work? The noise comes from the head as if the camshaft was making a noise. Flooding the oil down is probably not a killing for the engine.

If you have something worked out, the thicker oil will not do much good, and as it probably is for a moment. Such symptoms are the driller's wholesaler. It is best to check what causes such noises, because maybe something will fall apart in a moment.
