    Please answer the amateur question:

I mean whether the input internet speed (the speed I get from the Multimedia Polska modem and which I provide to the router) somehow translates directly into the wi-fi output speed. Possibly for network stability (probably not).

For example, now I have a 30 Mbps contract and in a room that interests me I reach 20 Mbps wi-fi speed. If I make a 60 Mbps contract (i.e. twice as much as I have), will the internet speed in this room after Wi-Fi also increase by about 100% (up to 40 Mbps)?

The assumption is that it will be the same change in internet speed without hardware changes (the same Multimedia Poland modem and the same router ASUS RT-AC51U)

It will not increase, if you do not reach max after wi-fi now, nothing will increase anymore, it will be 20Mbps.
Do you want fast wi-fi in this room? connect a LAN cable to it and install an additional AccesPoint.

It does not work like that. Wi-Fi speed is conditioned by many factors and mainly depends on the client and router (multimedia router does not affect the Wi-Fi speed through Asus - under ideal conditions it should be full 30Mb / s). Over LAN is full 30Mbps?

Through LAN it is even slightly more. After the wi-fi near the router the phone also shows me 30. I exclude the cable to the room. Maybe such a device in the socket, which improves the range of wi-fi would help - somewhere between the router and the room?

Try changing the Wi-Fi channel. What is your range?

The channel is automatic, so I assume the router is choosing the best one.

In total, he jumps. The meter in the phone (Wi-fi analyzer) shows -58 dBm (so it's probably ok). And despite this, probably the signal is quite strong, the transfer in the phone is also weak - it drops even to 5 Mbps (the phone showed 3 wi-fi lines)

Scan networks with some application on your phone. Then it will turn out whether you really choose the best :P

And so I ask out of curiosity. How many times the router scans these channels and changes them? Does such a change result in disconnection of the Internet? Is it better to set it rigidly to the channel that shows the phone (wi-fi analyzer application) as the best

    Show screenshots from WiFi Analyzer.

I don't know if it will help, because they are pictures in the morning and in the room with the router

And I will ask by the way, because I had a problem to download these screenshoots

The phone is Xiaomi Redmine note 4. In the previous router, I started the Eksplorer program on the phone, there I launched an FTP server with access to the phone's memory and using the Total Commander I connected to this FTP and could download files. FTP port on phone 2121 Now I did the same and failed.
Nibt Total Coammnder connected to this FTP, but I think the List command doesn't work because it didn't load the content. Total Commander Messages
"PORT ... (several numbers here) OK"
    "LETTER"
    "Port falied, try PASV mode"
    "PASV"
    and still nothing happens.

Does the new router have any ftp port blocked? Something needs to be switched to connect to the phone? Can I set a different FTP port on the phone than 2121 and what?

Topic summary

The discussion centers on the relationship between internet plan upgrades and Wi-Fi speed, specifically using a Multimedia Polska modem and an ASUS RT-AC51U router. The user inquires whether increasing their internet contract from 30 Mbps to 60 Mbps would proportionally enhance their Wi-Fi speed in a specific room. Responses indicate that current Wi-Fi speeds are influenced by various factors, including the router's capabilities and environmental conditions. It is noted that if the user is not achieving maximum speeds currently, simply upgrading the plan may not yield the expected increase in Wi-Fi performance. Suggestions include using a LAN connection for better stability, adjusting Wi-Fi channels, and considering additional devices like access points to improve coverage. The user also explores the effectiveness of Wi-Fi analyzers to optimize channel selection.
