    Hello.
The problem concerns Windows 10 Pro 64bit (upgrade from win7 pro 64). For some time (2-3 months) while loading * .wav files (several dozen MB) in the editor I experience long delays before the file is loaded. This is not a rule, but it happens often - sometimes it loads files in a split second, sometimes you have to wait up to half a minute, regardless of the file size. Since checking the memory and disks did not show any errors, I decided to reinstall the editor, but unfortunately it did not help. I noticed that the system disk usage is constantly at ~ 100%. Applications run very slowly lately - I waited almost half an hour for the program installer to start today. I thought maybe it was the windows updates so silent, so I turned off the network, but the problem persisted. Anyway, they probably wouldn't silence in constant mode ... Antivirus software has not detected anything suspicious so far, so at the moment I am helpless.
Please help. In the SMART attachment from disks and sreen from temporary wear.

You can see that all this updates -> SoftwereDistribution directory.

But that so? It's really impossible to work efficiently, people in the environment don't have similar problems ... Can you somehow limit it? Earlier such miracles did not work. :( ((
EDIT: Okay, the updates are over, they are no longer in the resources, disk usage jumps normally and reaches 70%, and the lag problem is still ... So I conclude that maybe it is not updates. The more that the problem exists practically constantly.

With all due respect and gratitude for dealing with my problem for free, but this bad sector disk is basically unused, it is connected in total, but there is no partition on it. In the case of the next one - this is the disk from the archive, encrypted and not used actively, so it also does not affect the operation of the disk (1). Although I was intrigued by these errors, I will try to do this MHDD scan in my free time.

I have interpreted SMART readings so that you know the condition of the discs.
Try to disconnect them completely (if you can) and write what effect.

Unfortunately, no improvement. :( Windows 10 Pro 64bit Performance Issues - Slow .wav File Loading and High Disk Usage

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around performance issues with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, particularly concerning slow loading times for large .wav files and consistently high disk usage. The user, who upgraded from Windows 7 Pro, experiences intermittent delays when loading files, with disk usage often peaking at 100%. Initial troubleshooting steps included checking memory and disk health, reinstalling the audio editor, and disabling network updates, but the issues persisted. Responses from other users suggested examining the SMART status of the hard drives, indicating potential problems with relocated sectors on one disk. Despite attempts to disconnect problematic drives and perform scans, no significant improvements were observed.
