    Probably September 18, 2016, so rather after the guarantee - they have a year.

    These batteries can lie dry on the shelf after a few years, so the date of production will not give you anything.
    What are the symptoms?

    The battery does not hold its capacity, but I have already bought a new one and it turned out that my friend lied to me about the novelty of this battery. Thank you for your help.

    Do not buy batteries with an unknown encrypted production date. There are (foreign) companies that code the date of production in an easy to decipher way. Just search the internet. If the manufacturer loses sales of batteries, it will either close the plant or be buyer-friendly. It's ridiculous, first you buy the battery and then set its production date. Cat in the bag.

    Decode the production date of EXIDE batteries:

    e.g. 9GC22D2 - July 2019.

    first character in the code: 9 = 2019; 8 = 2018 e.t.c.
    the second character in the code: G - is the seventh letter of the alphabet, so the seventh month, so July; successively G-07; H-08; Jul-09; J-10; K-11; L-12;

    Hallo.
    I just bought a battery Exide EK950 and I want to know when was my battery produced. On the battery there are two printed codes: from the top side on edge there is code 0ED27C1 and from the back on the top edge, just below the previous code, there is code J1147A112.
    Thanks.

    Last week I lost my FA602 FULMEN Formula Xtreme battery with the designation 3MD09B1. It is (was?) A company from the Exide group.
    I am asking out of curiosity, because I have been driving the car for the last 5 years, and the car is from 2010 - is it possible that it is a factory copy? Could 09B be February 2009?

    Good morning,
    can anyone tell me which year of production of the battery after this photo? Do I need to look for the sign in more detail?
