Hello all. I haven't looked here for a long time, but I have a problem, and maybe one of you met with such a case. Well, in the iPhone 7 plus after replacing the display, the front camera stopped working. Exactly, after switching the main camera to the front camera, a blurry view from the top camera or a black background appears. I will add that the speaker for calls and the proximity sensor is ok, so the flex tape is probably not damaged. Before replacing the screen, the webcam was working. Anyone have any idea? best regards

I would undress again and check if I put everything together well, especially the flex from the camera. Check if there is any dust between the flex contacts and the socket.

It did nothing. Connectors ok and clean. Probably the broken glass damaged the camera during disassembly. I ordered a whole new camcorder tape. Swap and we'll see what effect.

Replaced the front camera with a new one and nothing else. In addition, the situation is that the main camera works only in the main application. Not in Snapchat and Facebook. I have no idea what that might be. Proximity sensor, speaker approx.

There are many ideas, as there are many possibilities of damage during "panel repair / replacement"

Broken elements, sticking, damaged laminate. Start by recreating the software and check the flashlight / flash operation.
