    Hello.
Is there any method to reinstall the firmware.
The dedicated tool, ie "Patriot Tool Box_Complete_v1.15-1" does not provide such a possibility (certainly from the interface level).
Thank you in advance for your help.
    Best regards.

    Thanks for the answer.
The problem is that the disk is visible in the system (device manager), visible in the utility (SMART, info about software version etc.), but I am not able to access the data. Disk manager shows offline status. It cannot be "restored". Tools like EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard are unable to get to it.
The disk ran for 3 months and suddenly it "died".

Please include the screen from SMART and from the DMDE program window partitions, current partitioning - if it sees the disk.
If data is important, I would rather skip updates.

    - if you care about the data, updating the firmware is the dumbest thing you can do. Show how this drive is seen by MHDD.

There were different configurations sitting under this sticker on different controllers and with very different memory chips, so you just have to check what's sitting in this particular unit.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the issue of reinstalling firmware on a Patriot Burst SSD 240GB, which is recognized by the system but shows an offline status, preventing data access. The user reports that the SSD was functional for three months before it "died." Despite being visible in device management and utilities like SMART, recovery tools such as EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard are ineffective. A suggestion is made to provide SMART data and partition information from the DMDE program to further diagnose the problem, with a caution to avoid firmware updates if data recovery is a priority.
