Hello,
this is unfortunately the disadvantage of these Husar mowers - unfortunately I have the same.
When she was new, she rode at normal speed, unfortunately very short, because after 2 hours of work the gearbox broke down and the service replaced the gears with a new one (under warranty) - after this replacement the mower drives slowly like a turtle. When trying to make a repair claim they said everything was OK and that's how it should go!
I was also able to find out from the service that the first transmissions in these mowers were weak and often had to be replaced - apparently for a more durable model. He concludes that, however, one with a different gear ratio, which is the reason for a much slower ride. They should probably also replace the pulley with a properly selected one to maintain the correct speed. But why should they pack at additional costs - and let the customer get tired!
As for the "more durable" gears - in fact, instead of 2 hours, it lasted 2 years, but it is ONLY 2 years! and I need to replace it again after the warranty (digging through the net in this case, I came across this thread). It's good that the drive in the previous 15-year-old mower never broke and I had something to finish mowing (and what was my surprise that I can't keep up with this old one)
From other adventures with this Husar mower:
- after the purchase and the first firing, it turned out that the engine was screwed badly and the knife hit the side of the gun carriage - I have a rubbing to this day
- after the first return from service, it turned out that the mounting of the front wheel is bent - but as I heard, I certainly bent it myself
- after replacing the gearbox by the service, at the second mowing one wheel ceased to be driven - the reason was the wrong rotation of the drive and wheels by the service
- the courier's comment was also invaluable, which took her to the website: "it's probably the third this week ... and so every week"
To sum up neither Husar's equipment nor their inept service I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Unless a person who more than using mechanized gardening equipment as intended,
they like to spend time repairing it (e.g. with a beer)
