Hello, I am currently the owner of the Odu Idu 200 set, the contract ends in October. For some time I have a problem getting a connection, namely when Odu Status connects (at 1800 MHz always green) Odu Lte does not start at all. The indicator has no color. This happens especially after 20:00 and in the morning. The Internet loses connection. A yellow triangle appears on the wine icon, the connection seems to be correct but there is no internet. After the hardware restart, you cannot connect to Odu Lte. Then I have to change the band to 800 MHz but it has very low speeds not exceeding 1Mb (Bts overload). At 1800MHz there are no dizzying speeds but they are always better than at 800Mhz.

The parameters are probably not the worst. My location is Wągłczew near Sieradz. Odu is set to Bts Tubądzin / Inczew.
What can I do in this situation?

Perhaps BTS has a problem, i.e. it is overloaded (as demonstrated by g20) and simply throws away connected clients.

This piece of CP / Plus does not go to a specific BTS because the ODU has pseudo omnidirectional antennas with virtually zero profit. It probably connects with LTE1800Aero2 in Tubądzin because it is the closest though it is still 7 km. Signal parameters on LTE1800 weak and SINR poor. Hence the lack of stability and poor speeds. LTE800 Sferia and so only until the end of the year, it will be replaced by the same weak LTE900 Plus at 5MHz in MIMO2x2, the license is already there. LTE2600 Plus, LTE1800Aero2 and LTE800 Sferia and their aggregation in Błaszki. A piece of expensive but force this band and check. In this location as already Plus with a B525 router and an external antenna to it. In this location I would check T-Mobile with an unlimited offer for 49/65 PLN with B525 / B529. Reach with BTS NetWorks Kobierzycko on LTE1800 and LTE800 with their aggregation.

Installation of such a set requires interference in the ODU, in CP it is on loan, in Plus it is in installments. First you need to check how Plus LTE bands work with you on this wonder of technology. The LTE Status tab shows the signal and Band parameters, on the ODU-200 you will not use the LTE900 Plus, it works with LTE2600, LTE1800 and LTE800. What is the location, what are the problems with Plus?

Odu Idu 200 Connection Issues with Odu LTE at 1800 MHz: Solutions for Internet Disconnection

I live in Rębielcz. We have some problems, like everyone at low speed, despite the LTE connection that is caught.
Strangely in the morning or at night it is bearable because it is about 15 mbit, unfortunately during the period I suspect increased activity of users at 16-22 hours the speed drops to about 0.5 mbit: /

When I took the internet 5 years ago it all worked well I have had problems for about 1.5 years ...
And I will add that I have the odu idu 100 set

what do you expect from Plus after so many years and what's more is technological waste? You should never use it in such a location, it is not able to provide the correct signal, you have about 5 km to Plus BTSs in Pszczółki, Miłobiedz or Sobowidz. There is a poor-quality omnidirectional antenna with virtually no gain in the ODU. Works only on LTE1800Aero2 in addition with DL limited to 30Mb / s. Speeds of 0.5Mbps are a perfect example of a clogged Plus network in this area. Plus, LTE900 has been added there but it doesn't solve the problem, it's only 5MHz bandwidth and works slowly, you won't use it anyway. Any investment in IDU-ODU100 without justification. It is necessary to change the operator, which you should make just 1-1.5 years ago. Plus is the worst mobile operator in Poland, it has not modernized the network for almost 3 years. The purchase of an additional antenna will not change much, only thanks to it you will force connection with the least loaded BTS LTE1800Aero2, if any of these 3 is. in order to check, do a test under them, on your way with the LTE phone and the Network cell info application, I will show eNB, ECI BTS and signal parameters, plus speedtests in the evening. If the speeds under one of them are OK, then you are pointing the antenna at him. Show screenshots of NCI from these tests. In addition, show how the LTE Status looks like on the ODU.

I have a contract until February so of course I will gladly change operator - but which one?
my question was rather to find out if this antenna from Allegro will help something on my problems or I have to bother until the end of the contract.
After that, I will not hide that I pay PLN 1 for this internet, so if something could be improved so that the speed did not drop below 5 mbps, I would be happy.

It is not worth investing in Plus, you use the first version of SmartDom hence the price but there are many like you. Cheap offer plus no activities on BTSs and the effect that can be seen at speeds. It's almost free only tragically. The antenna from the link is electro-junk, similar sets are offered by YAGI from Tarnów. As I wrote first you need to check under each of these 3 BTS Plus how their internet works in the evening, so far we do not know which one your ODU connects to. If you get satisfactory speeds on one of them, then buying an antenna and setting it has some sense. But the speeds depend mainly on the number of users, in the morning or at night the BTS is empty and then you have better DL. If all these BTSs are clogged in the evening, buying the antenna will not help. in Plus, now SmartDom is in poor conditions. Operator change must always be preceded by tests first. Show LTE Diagnostics_Status tab on IDU.

Speed is some misunderstanding, you never got a funnel under FUP? Signal parameters on LTE1800 aero2 are correct, it's difficult to say from which BTS Plus this signal is. PCI shown (location information) 187 will identify it. To do this, go to the BTS in Pszczółki, Miłwiedzia and Sobowidz. set to the direction of Rębielcz. For testing, use the LTE Android phone with the Network cell Info Lite application (from the Google store) and the Plus card in it. Do tests, show the DATA tab from this app under each and DL / UL speedtest results from under each. NCI will show eNB, ECI BTS, a band, signal parmetry and PCi. After the PCI comparison it will be known which ODU is using. Checked speeds will let you check how Plus LTE1800 Plus works from each of these BTSs and which will provide you with the best speeds. A 1800MHz directional antenna can force a connection to it. There is no other way.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connection issues with the ODU IDU 200 and ODU LTE at 1800 MHz, particularly in Wągłczew near Sieradz. Users report frequent disconnections, especially during peak hours, and poor internet speeds when switching to 800 MHz due to BTS overload. Suggestions include checking the signal parameters and BTS connections, as well as considering the installation of a directional antenna to improve connectivity. Users express skepticism about the effectiveness of additional antennas and recommend testing different BTSs to identify the best connection. The overall sentiment indicates dissatisfaction with the Plus network's performance and a potential need for changing operators.
