[Solved] How to Enable Non-Reaction to Animals on Satel Perfecta Without Service Password

Hello, I need to get to the detectors to enable the non-reaction to animals function. If I understand correctly, each opening of the detector will trigger a tamper alarm and to prevent this from happening, you must enter the service mode. Unfortunately, I do not know the service password (the factory 12345 does not work). I asked the installer, but there was silence, so I have to do it myself. The system is quite new, not even a year old. I found in the manual (and on the forum, but for other models) the procedure for emergency starting the control panel (1. turn off the power supply, then the battery 2. put on the RESET jumper 3. turn on the power supply 4. wait 10 seconds and remove the RESET jumper).

I have a few questions about this (I have a wired LCD keypad):
1. Will this procedure definitely set the system only to service mode and not return it to, for example, factory settings? (I wouldn`t want to program the entire system later)
2. After the procedure, will the service password return to the factory default 12345? (how can I then change them to some of my own?)
3. Will other passwords, e.g. users, be reset?
4. How to exit the service mode?

What are these sensors? If you have cats or a dog with ADHD, nothing will help.

Opening the control panel casing should trigger a tamper alarm anyway. I suggest a simpler way:
- you open the switchboard
- remove the fuse and disconnect the battery
- you turn on the animals in the detectors
- connect the battery, then the fuse
- you close the switchboard
- you clear the alarm, program the clock
end.

@sosarek - A small cat for now. It is not known whether he will have ADHD He is scheduled to be outside later, but for now he has to be left at home. I once had an alarm because two newspapers fell off a chair. That`s why I`m afraid that even a small cat can excite. The detectors are Satel Gray.

@bluepolo - You can actually do that. However, I would like to know the service password, just in case. So I`ll need a reset procedure anyway.

If I remember correctly, you won`t recognize the password, you can only change it to your own.
Since the system is not yet a year old, in the event of a warranty repair, the installer will say:

In TS, you go to the service password options, enter yours, confirm and that`s it.
