    Hello,
The CRESTON CH-HRM0T1-IW blind control unit only works one way, i.e. whatever signal it gets and from where it gets the impulse it always closes the blind. I suspect it is getting two conflicting signals at the same time.

Is anyone familiar with this system?
Is it a software issue, is the camera faulty or can this be bought in, ?

There is no longer any documentation on this controller on the manufacturer's website.
From the photo it appears that this unit is controlled over CREST NET - there should be 24 Y Z G markings under the cables.
The controller can be used when attached to a Crestron f-processor and programmed only in the environment supplied by the manufacturer. The module cannot be used and not tested without access to this software.

As far as the control direction is concerned, the software in the processor is responsible for it.

PS. The module must be very old since it is not in the manufacturer's documentation.

Ok. I think I may have gone too far. First of all, during testing I would disconnect the processor communication wires (Y and Z) . Left only the 24 and G power supply. Then the processor will not interfere with the control in any way. I suspect that shorting ^ (triangle up) and ground should collapse the blind, v (down) should expand the screen/blind. Short-circuiting the buttons should allow manual control, but rather without a programmed retraction/expansion time. Unfortunately I can't find any documentation on the manufacturer's website, part of the argument is based on my experience of several years with other Crestron products.
