Hello, recently the belt light started blinking while driving (you had to move the buckle to stop it).
I decided to disable the control via VCDS, unfortunately problems arose.

Here is a picture from the manual, module 17, coding

The default was 2113158, so I changed the penultimate digit to 0.

It seems to have improved, but my big surprise caused me to enter the coding again, it changed to completely different numbers.

Even more interesting is that after trying to enter the value that was at the beginning (2113158), I click do, I enter and there are other numbers.

I would like to add that now I have an average fuel consumption in miles per gallon, because according to the instructions above, the third from the last two is USA.
Am I doing something wrong? Is it coded / converted differently?
What to do to go back to the standard (2113158) settings?

Thanks in advance for your answers and tips.
    best regards

Since you are using version 17.8.1, I guess it's another rice clone. Perhaps another ADAKO security. Drive to someone with non-VCDS hardware and try recoding again. If it goes, let us know, it would be important information for clone owners.

I don't know, it's soft and my friend's cable, from what he told me, he paid quite a lot for it, so I guess it's not a pirate trip, but I don't know myself. So I'm doing everything right?

Chinese maple. I had the same thing in A4b7. And with this cable I was not able to return to the value that was at the beginning. In the end, I returned to the original value with a different cable, and then turned off the squeaking of unfastened belts without much problem.

Thanks so much for the answers, you were right, it's the cable's fault. I drove up to a guy who apparently had the original VCDS and he entered the same value with me without any problems, except that everything worked.
