Am I to understand that you want to receive satellite TV?
You can connect as much as possible, of course, through the converter
and receive free-to-air FTA programs from the Hot Bird satellite 13° east
There should be about 20 Polish programs. :|

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

Of course, the TV must have a built-in satellite tuner. :|

I have 2 TV sets, one connected to the Cyfrowy Polsat decoder and the other a new Samsung 40-inch curved TV and after connecting to the mesh antenna there is no channel. I also have a satellite dish to receive Cyfrowy Polsat and I would like to be able to receive basic channels on one of the TV sets because it is not activated. And that's why I have a question, can I attach a cable from this TV that does not play to the satellite dish instead of the mesh antenna?

Maybe you can start by giving your location, write whether the antenna is with or without an amplifier, etc.?

If it is 15 years old, it is probably already corroded and the board installed in it (balancer or amplifier) has also certainly stopped working. The antenna should be replaced with a new one and a new balun or antenna amplifier should be installed in it, depending on the needs.

    I see THREE :
    - TV Polonia
    - Tele 5
    - Polonia 1
Do not confuse the terms - there are about thirty - but only if you use decoders of operators - CP or nc+, where these channels are included in each package (the cheapest in TNK from nc+).

    From the transmitter in Ciechanów
    Mux8-k12 /pl.vertical/ - easily available
Mux3-k39 with a good directional antenna - also
Mux1 and 2 - bad forecast here, antenna with amplifier, reception tests should be carried out

Give the exact type of this TV, buddy, or post photos of its antenna inputs.
I also have a Samsung 40 with a curved screen and it has a satellite TV tuner; so if you also have one installed, you can connect to a satellite dish.

Well, I was also thinking about TNK more channels, but first you need over 100 for the decoder and PLN 20 every month, which I don't calculate a bit

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting two TV sets to a satellite dish to receive basic channels. The main concern is whether a TV without a built-in satellite tuner can receive signals directly from the satellite dish. It is clarified that a TV must have a built-in satellite tuner to pick up satellite signals. Users suggest using a converter to access free-to-air (FTA) channels from the Hot Bird satellite. The author mentions having a Samsung 40-inch curved TV and a Cyfrowy Polsat decoder, seeking to connect the second TV to the satellite dish instead of a mesh antenna. Recommendations include checking the condition of the existing antenna, considering a new directional antenna, and possibly using a DVB-T tuner. The conversation also touches on the need for a TWIN converter for dual connections and the potential costs associated with subscription services for additional channels.
