    Hi,

My computer does not go to sleep after selecting this option. Only the monitors turn off. The computer itself works / fans are running. Amazingly, after logging out the user and enabling the sleep option from the login screen, it is ok - it goes to sleep. Anyone know what to do about it?

    Specification:
    Windows 10 Pro
    Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro
    Intel Core i7-9700K
    Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 AORUS 8GB GDDR5 (256 bit)
    Samsung 970 EVO 500GB M.2 PCIe x4 NVMe x2 SSD
    HyperX Predator RGB, DDR4, 32 GB, 3200MHz, CL16 x4

In this case, some background program is blocking sleep if it's ok after logging out, or it's some kind of windows bug.
At the beginning, you can also update the drivers for the chipset and graphics as well as the UEFI update.

It's rather clear that Win 10, Z390 is the only one that allows you to install it. Home or Pro?

Check Control Panel> power options> change plan setting> change advanced power settings, which is set to sleep.

    Windows 10 pro

In advanced, I have "sleep after 15 minutes" and "allow resumption of work according to the timer: enable"

Interestingly, I only have two options under sleep ... I don't have hybrid sleep or hibernate. But I'll set the rest and check.

    EDIT: It didn't help.

It is worth checking if you have Mobile Hotspot turned on, if so, the computer will not go into sleep mode (I did).
