Hi. As in the subject, I bought a cheap Chinese IP camera from INQMEGA. The camera works very nicely, but of course with the program dedicated by the manufacturer YCC365 Plus, which is free for only 30 days. Is it possible to configure this camera so that it works outside the manufacturer's paid cloud? Only after the purchase, colleagues at work made me realize that there is such a thing as ONVIF, which this camera apparently does not support ... Can this Chinese language be configured in a similar way? It is a PTZ camera with only USB connection. It does not have an RJ45 socket. Regards.

Since it has a USB connection, it is not an IP camera.

Please provide at least the model of this camera. The manufacturer INQMEGA probably has several models. The USB connection is probably for ripping recordings and the camera connects via Wi-Fi or not.

The camera is INQMEGA IL-HIP291-1M/2M-AI. I would give auctions from ali but probably the admin will throw it as an advertisement. The USB connection is only for the charger, and the camera is installed by connecting via WiFi to the smartphone, and then indicating the router and entering the password, which connects the camera to the Internet.

Give it to me, no one will be fired. For me, it is important that the name is given, and the link as an auxiliary one is seen as best as possible. suvorov

Have any of you had any experience with these cameras at all? Because in fact, I can't find information about what the payment will be about, e.g. in the YCC365 application. Or only video storage space? I only care about liveview.

    @xury

From what you sent, the Russians somehow broke it all, but it's all terribly hard to read. I have no idea what it is about, but they provide some files to access the camera settings through the memory card and you can unlock it ...

So you understood something. Anyway, now ask yourself... Do I have the time, willingness and ability to do this or maybe I'd better quietly hope that someone else will do it for me... or I'll sell this wrong purchase and buy something concrete that will work for free and will save me time and nerves... Anyway, it's up to you to decide. PS Browsing in the chrome browser and using the "Translate to Polish" option seems to work well enough ... the only question is whether you understand what is written there.

I have to say you summed it up very well :) I asked myself these same questions yesterday. I don't think it's worth giving up so soon. I do not expect a solution on a tray and you can always try it, after all, I have nothing to lose except buying a second camera ;) So far I've managed to understand from the Russian side how to get to the "content" of the camera via ftp.

I spoke in a private message with the author of the topic on the Russian forum that he sent @xury . Cloud payment after 30 days of the trial period is only required to store the recordings. You can use live view for free and save video on the card. You can also unlock this camera to work in onvif, but in the case of free live view, it does not need such a function :) The camera itself is in my opinion of very good quality and works very nicely with a dedicated app for PLN 95 :)

Send me screenshots with the settings of the ycc365 plus application after inserting the memory card, it does not record the detected movements

I have this camera and after the expiry of the month period, it is impossible to switch the video playback from the cloud to the SD card. It seems to record the image on the SD card, but you can't play what was recorded in the phone application. Does anyone have a way to view historical recordings without removing the SD card from the camera and connecting to a computer?

    Added after 4 [minutes]:

colleague @Romanih1 explained to me the solution to the problem: "Watching previously recorded material is done from the application level via a smartphone (tablet) without the need to remove the card. (click the circle with a triangle under the image) and scroll the bar by hovering over the blue bar".
    Thank you Romanih1, it works :) .

It is signed whether it is possible to connect to the camera via www in the lan network and not via Chinese servers, e.g. 192.168.0.100 :)
Supposedly, the onvif standard is there, but there is no communication with the recorder for this reason

And as for auto-tracking, the camera is crazy because it goes down after about 20 minutes

You cannot connect to this camera via WWW in the local network 192.168.XX because there is a blockade, only via the cloud. Connection to the recorder should not work. The cloud is really OK, bypasses all NAT and other blocking on routers. But as someone wrote above, you can unlock it in the sense of a bootloader and then you can do wonders. I have never used auto tracking. This camera is worth < PLN 100 and for this price it is a revelation.

In HIK-vision cameras, you can do wonders right away, access is via WWW locally, cloud, etc., including transmission encryption. But it's a different shelf and price. PLN 100 against, e.g. PLN 240 for versatile configuration options.

It can be configured to work on the card, you need to insert the card, format it and select the option that is called something like: record to sd card and not record to the cloud.

For IP cameras with YCC365 plus to PC

    ycc365 plus rtsp url

RTSP stands for Real-time Streaming Protocol, it is the basic multimedia streaming protocol that allows cameras to deliver video streams. Almost network cameras rely on this protocol to stream video/audio to web browser/video management software/NVR/NAS.

    IP address: DHCP
    username: admin
    password: 123456 or no password
Port number: HTTP port (80), RTSP port (554), ONVIF port (80).
    RTSP URL: rtsp://[username]:[password]@[ip]:[port]
    RTSP mainstream: rtsp://admin

You can also upload an android application emulator and just upload YCC365

    Hello

I managed to set the camera in the IP Cam Viewer Lite program, even the control works. Chinese INQMEGA IP camera - is it possible without the manufacturer's cloud?
In the pswd field, enter 12345.
We enter the IP depending on what we have set.
    Regards

PS If someone is interested in the preview itself, there is streaming in the VLC application and it even works fine.

if anyone needs it, I attach EN manuals for this type of cameras.

    instructions in the attachment

After setting to record to SD card as written by "8850", then in the YCC365 plus app on the phone, you can freely watch the recording from the SD card. The application can be viewed locally or via the cloud. Applications are best downloaded via code. From what I noticed, there is an older version in the play store.

    Hello.
Does anyone know where to download the latest firmware and how to upload it???. I have 3 webcams that go with the ycc365 plus app, I was also able to find them in the "VMS lite" and "ONVIF device manager" PC programs. He searches for cameras, he sees only two, he can't connect so that there is already a preview of the image and there is an image from the third one. What's funnier is the camera, which is the image via wifi, the second one is also wifi and the third one is via cable and there is no image either. What I noticed is from the camera what is the preview has a newer firmware (3.5.2.1211) and the other two (3.4.2.0724)

And it works without a micro sd card inserted with files "breaking" the camera? After all, it eventually starts in the waiting function for connecting to the network?

You configure the camera normally with the app, then look at its IP and everything works.
I didn't put in a frog break card.

depends what you want to do (have)
without the cloud, you save everything on the SD card.
If you want to record not only on the card, you can use the program (also another program) installed on your computer/tablet/phone and indicate that it should be recorded there.
In this case, for there to be continuity of recording, the device would have to work non-stop - like a server.
I don't know if it is possible to connect a camera recorder. I did not try.

Recording is probably only possible with a card or other device. In the case of the cloud, the record is on the card and in the cloud.

can't you log in to the site and watch?
I haven't used the clouds and I still have access.
Install the application on your phone/tablet or on a computer with an android emulator and you will have the live view and the card memory.

Well, but in the cloud you can see events ... such bars and in the application there is no such thing.

There are also grids in the application as you are in the option of selecting the detection area - by touching the grid or grid, they darken and this area is excluded from detection.
Events are also in the application, you just need to turn them on and set the level (there are three).
There is also a history in the application and you can see what and when is recorded.

It is noted that while the camera can function without the cloud for live view and local recording, some features may be limited. Users share experiences regarding the camera's setup, including the need for a microSD card, formatting it, and selecting the appropriate recording options. There are mentions of potential workarounds, such as using third-party applications and accessing the camera via local network settings.
