Hello, I have a problem that when I turn on the scooter and move the wheel, the E5 error is displayed on the display and an intermittent sound signal is displayed, is it about the battery? If someone could tell me what I can do about it, I would be grateful, I will add that the warranty is out of the question.

However, I will return it under warranty, I did not want to return it because I broke the steering wheel through my fault, but the e 5 error started to appear earlier, so I will send them a scooter with a note that I am asking only to remove this error and fix the rest myself, on the phone I said that I unscrewed it myself to which the lady replied that if everything is as it should be, there will be no problems, the only problem is that I have been looking for such a large cardboard box for 2 months now, and I have to take it by tram to the Play store.

Damaged Hall sensor in the front wheel or a problem with the wires between the meter and the wheel, check the wires and cubes, if everything is OK there, replace the sensor in the engine.

And in case of what will I get such a sensor or only the service saves?

Do you have a universal controller for 36V and 48V? Haven`t you set the voltage to 48V in the settings?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around an E5 error and intermittent sound signal on the Motus 8.5 scooter display, which users suspect may be related to battery issues. One user reports a similar problem and seeks information, while another mentions attempting to return the scooter under warranty despite previous damage. A technical response suggests that the issue could stem from a damaged Hall sensor in the front wheel or wiring problems between the meter and the wheel, recommending checks on these components. There are inquiries about obtaining replacement sensors and discussions about other error codes (E1, E6) on different models, indicating a broader concern with error diagnostics across Motus scooters.
