I am extending an old audio amplifier by adding an esp32 with vs1053. Everything works ok but I would also like to replace the analogue amp volume pot with an encoder, just control the volume the same with the esp32 as with the knob.
My question is, is there any reasonably ready module for esp32/arduino that I can connect instead of that analogue one and control it from esp32 digitally ?

hm... it is not that easy though, I have a double potentiometer there, I would need 2 pcs x9c which gives 6 pins with esp32 and to that an encoder 3 pins thats 9 altogether, I can't collect that much ;( I am looking for ready modules e.g. for SPI which would take care of everything but I can't see anything
