    Hello,

I just bought the second generation and according to asusteka (v. 2 vs. v. 1):
    1. 16MB vs. flash memory 128MB,
    2. Weaker antennas 2 dbi vs. 5 dbi,
    3. Well, USB gen.2 vs.3,
    4. The worse firmware support is only 1 realse. vs. 6 versions,
    5. Sum such castrate = this equivalent of RT-AC1200 +.

I suspect that the CPU is also worse, but I do not confirm. I will test and see.

If you have to break out in the promo - 33%, then approx.

    Greetings

    It's a nice neuter.

I bought it as v2, but with the hardware description like v1.

I will test and think about whether or not to return. I paid 199zeta in total. The question is, is it worth that much or, for example, a better used rt-ac66u at a similar price?

rt-ac66u no classic, old but good guts on the firmware support, I would be happy to compare these average players, I omit the equipment for gamers with cash.
    Has:
    256MB RAM and 128MB flash.
Only this draf 3.0, I suspect that in 5ghz transfers naver rt-ac1200 + will win with him - I can think about it - the tests can be compared on the web.

Hunt the RT-AC1300G plus the perfect new replacement.

    There is a newer processor in V2 version: QCN5500 MIPS74k 770MHz + WLAN 5GHz QCA9888, WLAN 2.4GHz integrated
The V1 version was IPQ4018 ARM Cortex-A7 717MHz, both WLAN integrated
    RT-AC66U is 3x3, but the chipset is already a bit outdated (BCM4706 + BCM4331 + BCM4360).
How to replace it with the 11ac wave2 chipset. Older chipsets practically do not support beamforming (the fact that beamforming is standard, there is nothing to say here). Both RT-AC58s have wave2 chipsets.

Well, the newer v. 2, but the CPU is based on a mips with one data line, the fact is a new separate 5ghz radio as compared to the older v. 1 where ARM (no 7) but the quad in real life you have two corners for the system because two are chasing the radio.
In total, new PLN 200-300 in the shelf, what is left good, to have min. 128MB ram and 128MB flash and WAVE. 2?
    AVM FRITZ 4040?
