Hello, recently I was on vacation, before the holidays everything was fine, but I came back after a month from vacation and started the computer. Everything was ok, I launched the raft game, played a few hours. Then I turned off the game, and the game didn't even close properly, and I already started to update the new drivers for the graphics card, then a bluescreen appeared, but I thought that the card simply did not finish its processes well there and a sudden driver update could crash it. however, later i started playing gta 5, after a while suddenly a very fast bluescreen popped up, then after about 2 hours another, also a fast bluescreen popped up. As it's warm everywhere, I think the culprit is the CPU overheating. When these bluescreens popped up, the computer window was removed, but it did not help. How can I be sure that the CPU is overheating? Aida64 extreme has already expired, so I can't insert these charts. Discs also get high temperature, but not so high as to be harmful.

Specification: AMD Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2060 super dual palit, HyperX 2666Mhz cl13, Corsair VS550W, Kingston A400 240GB, Sea Barracuda 1TB, MSI B450 Tomahawk, CPU cooler is boxed, and has boxed thermal paste.

If it's because of the heat of the processor, tell me what can I do to cool it down.

Perhaps cpu-z allows you to monitor parameters while playing. It may also be an update issue - either something was installed incorrectly or the company has a bug in the update.

Try looking for the update number to see if others had a similar problem.

I'm currently installing a windows update, maybe that will help. I'll test it for a while and then I'll get back to you. Still in Bios, set the ram bones to normal parameters because they are OC.

Set the fan curve in the bios depending on the temperature, you will have more RPM on the fan.

when he enters 100% at 70 degrees, so there is not much to set.

You can test with occt if you don't have an AIDA64 license. If you blame the card for blue screens, you can always remove the drivers by using DDU.

I don't really blame the card, because she had the right to get confused. But when I was playing raft, the processor was max 85 degrees, and nothing was screaming, and since gta 5 on FiveM servers, msi afterburner does not work, I have no way to monitor it, although I have HWiNFO running in the background then, but how I can't even see how many degrees it has reached. But I will check again with occt.

94 degrees on an unoverclocked CPU, how come?

My apartment is 32 degrees, so it boils a bit, but in my opinion, even despite the high ambient temperature, the computer should not crash in this way. It is without glass, but it does practically nothing.

What voltage should i set in the bios?

Install the cooler correctly, change the paste.

I intend to, the Arctic cooling MX-4 paste will be good for a long time? Or will the Thermal Grizzly kryonaut last long? And as for cooling, I also want to change the only problem is that I've been looking at the dimensions of SilentiumPC fortis 3 all the time and I still don't know if it will fit into my kennel (SilentiumPC Regnum RG4T). And if it did, you'd have to disassemble the motherboard to install it, right? I'm asking because I'm a little afraid of disassembling the computer, because I have a custom-made computer and I didn't assemble it myself, because I can't. Will replacing the cooler void the warranty? (the computer was made to order by a computer specialist). If you have better cooling than fortis 3 for up to PLN 150, you can offer.

If it crashed a BSOD with an error code, this program should show it.

Set it lower, Offset Mode, put it on "minus" and set it to 0.1 for example.

    MX2, MX4.
    Arctic Freezer 34.
Ask a computer engineer, I don't know how it is with them.

And how should that help? Will this eliminate the jumping temperature? i.e., for example, I play a game, the processor sticks to 80 degrees, in a few seconds it drops to 70/65 and again sticks to 80 and so on. Or at least lower the temperature? Is there any performance loss on this?

Okay, now I'm really worried because I don't know what's wrong. I close chrome and beep, BSOD. What is going on?

The only thing I was able to find in the system is:

Along the way, I also broke chrome, it crashed at startup, but it's fixed.

    Uninstall:
    CCleaner

Download and scan - delete everything they find (also from quarantine):
    https://pl.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/
    https://pl.malwarebytes.com/

    Copy and paste into notepad:
    Code: Text
Log in, to see the code

Notepad file "save as" fixlist.txt and place next to FRST, in the same folder.
    Run FRST and click "Repair".

Try to update the system through the tool from Microsoft without deleting the data:
    "Download Tool"
    https://www.microsoft.com/pl-pl/software-download/windows10%20

Clear the C drive from garbage:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026616/windows-10-disk-cleanup
"Run Disk Cleanup and select Clean up system files.
Select the file types you want to get rid of. For a description of a file type, select it.
    Select the OK button."

When scanning with Malwarebytes, when I wanted to return to the game in mc, I got a bluescreen (they still don't save in bluescreenview) After I removed the things that those programs detected, I did all the steps you told me, AIDA64 still detects system instability, event viewer records these bluescreens but doesn't save anything important. I don't know what to do next.

Have you updated your system with MS tool?
Check with linux live - few hours of work and load.

Memory memtest, Prime95 small ffts, Furmark card. You need to check the hardware.

Does it reinstall windows for me? Will I have to enter something from windows? Will it just update me to a newer version of windows?

I made a bios restart (I made a jumper) and the first results are that aida does not crash after 10 seconds, only now it has 5 minutes, it promises to be good. I haven't changed anything in the bios yet, and the rams are 2400 Mhz. I'll test it for 30 minutes and if it doesn't scream, I hope that will be the end of my problem :D

Added after 7 [hours] 11 [minutes]:

After 20 minutes of stress with Aida, the system was stable. Then, during the game, which lasted about 5/6 hours, the computer was also stable. I am very happy about it, and I hope that this problem will not appear again, but to be sure, I will leave the topic open for a few days, if something happens.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user experiencing "System Service Exception" BSOD errors related to the win32kbase.sys file after returning from vacation. The user suspects CPU overheating due to high ambient temperatures and inconsistent temperature readings during gaming sessions. Various troubleshooting steps are suggested, including monitoring CPU temperatures with CPU-Z, adjusting BIOS settings for fan curves, and using alternative software like OCCT for stress testing. The user also considers updating Windows and replacing thermal paste. After several attempts, including a BIOS reset, the user reports improved stability and plans to replace the CPU cooler for better thermal management.
