The question relates to the home automation offered by IKEA under the name Tradfi and the availability of its configuration in the Home app.

The question is which devices in this series:
    - require the IKEA bridge to work
    - are available for scenarios configured directly from the Home app, not only in the IKEA Home Smart app

From what I have tested the light bulbs are visible in both the Home app and the Home Smart app, but for example the remote control can only be configured within the IKEA app to control IKEA accessories only.

Is there somewhere an inventory of what is actually fully HomeKit compatible and works with other non IKEA Homekit devices ?

    - that's generally how it works - that's the manufacturers' policy. Dimmers or switches are often only visible within the manufacturer's app and no longer visible outside the app.

    - rather not. Additionally, it may depend on the software version or date of manufacture. If something doesn't work - you can check if there is a software update and maybe it will start working.

    - depends on how (to what extent) you want to use them. If you want to go beyond simple control then a bridge is more likely to be needed sooner or later. It's not expensive compared to Hue for example and I think it's worth buying.

    - in general, devices that you can control with the Home app should be usable for scenarios. The situation is worse with 'input' devices - sensors, switches, dimmers, remote controls, etc - here the limitations are as above.

Some of the "input" devices can be used to control them with e.g. Home Assistant - but this is a completely different story....
