I have a question for those who have used.

I have a problem with uploading firmware via JTAG. I understand that this version of openOCD (supplied with IFD) does not support flashing via JTAG.

The only solution is to flash via esptool and then start a debug session. This is not a particular problem - I have modified the cmake files, but is this the case or am I doing something wrong.

Yes it is, as you wrote.

Added after 10 [minutes]:

But optionally it is possible to flash via JTAG: Link .
I don't do it that way - I use ESP-PROG, so I connect the UART to the ESP32 for flashing and log monitoring anyway.

Thanks. They could have written a chunk of code for FLASH programming. But I guess that's the affliction of all Far Eastern modifications of openOCD. Sony (Spresense) also broke their teeth on openOCD.
