    Recently I bought Steelseries Arctis 1 headphones and after plugging it in, it turned out that the microphone does not work in them. My computer uses Realtek drivers and detects it as a recording device. The microphone can be detached from the headphones. When I tried to connect the microphone directly to the computer via the minijack, it worked normally. It only works when connected to headphones. I was already looking for some settings in “Realtek Audio Console” but I didn't find anything there.

    I have headphones with one minijack connector because the microphone is detachable. From what I've read, this connector is called a combojack. After plugging in headphones and enabling "Disable front panel jack detection" in the Realtek driver settings, the headphones themselves work fine (without enabling this feature, it doesn't show me any playback and recording device in Windows sound settings). Unfortunately, the microphone does not detect any signal when it is connected to the headphones, which is how it should be. It works only when connected directly to the computer via the minijack for the microphone.
