    Hello!

I have a problem with a Peugeot 3008 car with a 1.6 VTI 120hp engine. The car randomly gets ignition loss with error P1337. Swapped coils in place, which has no effect. Spark plugs new. Compression on cold supposedly OK.

I know nothing about mechanics but am trying to fight this as most mechanics spread their hands. I bought an ELM and started to diagnose the problem myself. Generally I only get a P1337 error every time the Check Engine comes on. Then the engine goes into emergency mode and after switching off, the radiator runs for a few minutes. I delete the error, start the engine and everything is theoretically OK. Today, while driving after clearing the error, I monitored the pulse width of the injectors: 1 and 2 are running fairly similarly, while 3 is practically not running, while 4 is running in a higher range than 1 and 2.

I can't interpret these measurements, but could it be a problem with injector 3 or its control?

Is the P1337 error an ignition misfire on the first cylinder and how does this relate to the problem with injector 3?

Regards and thanks in advance for your help!

    Familiarize yourself with the topic.

Thanks for the hint. I pulled the coils, messed with their order a bit and cleared the error. The car has been running for a few days now and the error does not appear.

What puzzles me, however, are the pulse times of the injectors (shown in the screens at the beginning of the topic) - while injectors 1 and 2 look fine, 3 and 4 are giving some unrealistic parameters. The engine, on the other hand, runs evenly and no problems are apparent. Is it possible that the OBD app I'm using is reading these parameters incorrectly?

Give a break to the vvt from bmw you need to be able to diagnose. And don't dig how it drives.
