I set up a 2-way counter for the PV with a symbolic name (I don't see another one): S34U18. For a few weeks I have no access to www.eTauron meter, and the LED on it marked "NET" is blinking yellow, so I suspect a problem with communication via the cellular network. If you know this model, please help - it looks like the one in the appendix:
1.is there is any way / button to force communication, because you have been told to wait until the meter sends data, and this may never happen. Just in case, today I reported a transmission fault and it was even accepted
2.Can I read the data from this meter directly on the computer, or how to do it?
    3. there is a poor mobile network in the place where the box is located - is it possible to add an antenna to this abacus?
    Regards

In my case, the net diode flashes green in this meter, so you may have a problem with the range.

However, the Tauron system does not see him. I hope it will surprise you someday.

I don't even know what this P1 port is, but the meter is sealed from top to bottom. The only thing I have available is a button for the carousel and an optical port. I'd be thrilled if one meter worked with this but I emailed them two days ago and it's still deaf.

Do you have the same counter as in the photo in the first post?
The P1 port is the RJ12 connector on the bottom right under the flap.

I have this model of the meter, but the photo is with the cutout for this port. For me, the cover is completely full without any cutout and sealed, so I have no access to this port. As I wrote: I only have access to the optical port and one button to the OBIS carousel.

I found this P1 that it is a telephone connector like for old dial-up and neostrada modems - ingenious, but unfortunately for me it lies under sealed plastic.

Thanks, gentlemen, it's easier in the Group :) In the so-called in the meantime, I received 2 contradictory information:
1.After reporting a communication fault, the fitter came and said that the meter was OK, but there was a problem with the communication protocol on the Tauron server side (that this meter is a Chinese novelty) and that I have to wait patiently for the configuration on the server
2.on the inquiry (message in the eBook), the hotline replied not about problems with the protocol, but that the meter has been appointed for replacement and that I will lose my current data - I wrote back and wait for the info again :)

If you "figured out" this novelty, let me know because I have an optical cable and rj12 too, so maybe I would read it, but I've already heard about advanced encryption and the problem of obtaining a key from Tauron.

    Hi

    I have the same counter.
He writes 1000 imp / kWh on it - I used the iNode - I set 1000 imp and it shows me 2x more consumption than it actually is.

Previously I had this iNode on another meter with 1500 imp and everything was according to consumption.
Can anyone check it at home? confirm ?

    Greetings
    Robert

    1. Where is this counter installed, please provide a detailed description. Counter box, niche on the cage, metal cabinet.
    2. I do not recommend all attempts to communicate with the meter without the approval and consent obtained from the Operator, may cost a lot. They are authorized only by the respective application or website.

rstlen29 - a Tauron box in the fence, it's some kind of plastic.

You can now check whether the access works, only from 13.10.2021 it is possible to register and view data and the application is the elicznik for this meter.

Why can't I install the e-meter application with this meter?

The powerhouse with this meter is already running.

    It doesn't work for me.

I enter the payer's number in Tauron distribution and it pops up that no remotely read point has been found, etc.

Do you all have active comprehensive contracts already - ebok tauron sales shows me that I have an inactive contract. So far I have accounted for the old meter and I have no forecasts. How does it look like? Will I get any predictions? Annual billing cycle and I do not know now if I will get something after a year? How long does this contract take effect?

The new contract is the new payer number in Tauron.
You will not register for the old one.

    It's all clear. Thanks.

keysim1986 -thanks, there is a light in the tunnel - in eLicznik I have already accepted the payer, but this time the message that there is no data :( So it will probably start soon also for me.

I was the same. After about 3 hours the data appeared.

For me, two days after registration and no data and no information.

And what's your range on the meter? Maybe you have poor coverage and can't send data. At the beginning I had this one, I only replaced the antenna with an external one with a good gain.

I have no cellular coverage here at all - I switch to 2G and the cell is located in a specific place where it will get some coverage. Can the meter have the same?

You have a range indicator on the display.

    Upload a photo.

This LED flashes continuously. Regardless of the range.

Unfortunately, I do not have the key to this box and it will not take a decent photo through the plastic sight glass. After entering the tauron elicznik website, there is no data in the computer and it does not enter at all on the mobile application - it hangs on the page with the tauron bulb logo distribution. There is no indicator on the display as I look - which one is it? Anyway, maybe I will call the Tauron hotline one day, so they will help.

They won't tell you anything on the hotline. As already, write to eLicznik(_at_)tauron-dystrybucja.pl

And the indicator is the one marked in yellow

For me, there is only a triangle without these lines down.

So no coverage. As a result, no transmission and therefore no data in the elicznik service.

In order not to assume a new topic: if I have active energy taken from the grid on this meter: 730kWh and active energy transferred to the grid: 1192kWh and according to Fusion Solar has been produced so far 1510kWh, is everything OK? My point is whether the meter does not overstate the energy consumption - it is not cheating because you have read about such cases?

From what you said you have 318 kWh of self-consumption and 1048 kWh of total consumption.
But whether it is ok and if the counter is not overstating it, nobody will tell you. Divide your total consumption by the number of days and compare it to the earlier period (before setting up the installation).
This should give you some starting point.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around troubleshooting issues with the S34U18 2-way counter PV, specifically focusing on a blinking yellow NET LED indicating potential communication problems via the cellular network. Users report difficulties accessing the eTauron meter and express concerns about poor mobile network coverage affecting data transmission. Suggestions include checking the P1 port for connectivity, using an optical port for data reading, and the possibility of adding an external antenna to improve signal strength. Some users have experienced delays in data availability after registration, while others discuss discrepancies in energy consumption readings. The conversation highlights the importance of proper communication protocols and the need for patience with the Tauron system's configuration.
