While browsing through various offers of Off-Grid inverters, the title inverter caught my eye. Quite an affordable price and the possibilities are a bit too much for my needs, but a spare one won't hurt :D . I'm looking for user opinions, maybe someone on the forum has and uses it and will share their observations and impressions of the operation of this inverter?

I don't use it, but EASUN solar inverters have a PWM charger
Better look for something with MPPT
    SANYU SPV18-3024 VPM

For me it's affordable. GreenCell is out of the question due to unfavorable opinions about the company and its products. This Sanyu seems interesting, I have to read the instructions carefully.

This Sanyu is quite interesting and maybe I will buy it in the 2kW version. The best version would be 1kW, but unfortunately it is 12V.

Anything more? Does it catch any software glitches, like communication and security?

There are no hiccups, everything works as it should, I have a 6 kWh battery, the protection is fine, I shorted the panels once and nothing happened, the 2000 W kettle boils and doesn't even get warm, I'm testing it now, the whole apartment has the TV set off, the fridge 2 pcs lighting, hydrophore and hula.

It would also work non-stop for me, but the power would be much lower, although if I installed it at home, it could include, for example, a kettle + an oven. Tell me if you can, of course, did you measure the current consumption from the battery without load?

Wow, what a battery store 👀
How long have you had it tied up like this?

Everything was measured and connected. AGM and Ni-Cd, nickel-cadmium batteries have been working for 7 years and were connected to the UPS. AGMs from 3-year-old BMWs hold well.

Gentlemen, how about the noise of the fans from this inverter? And is it true that it draws from the battery as much as it can, even with the AC power on?
Quote from Alledrogo: "one drawback that disqualifies such equipment for me is that in the bypass mode with the mains charging turned off and only from the panels, the equipment draws about 0.7 ampere from the batteries for its own needs, why not from the mains, the oldest Chinese doesn't know, poor a week or two without sun and you wake up with discharged batteries, I don't understand this philosophy of not protecting the energy storage when mains power is available."

@prose I don't think I'm worried about having such batteries at home :)
But the fact is that I also had to turn off my converters because when the weather is not good, they consume battery power...

I have it in the utility room, it doesn't bother me, but it's noisy, and as far as battery discharge on standby is concerned, it doesn't consume much. The UPS consumed only 30 Wh.

If I had that much battery, I wouldn't turn it off in the winter. because that's all I care about.
In total, I have 3 of them, including the Volt you don't like, which draws electricity from the grid and powers my central heating furnace 24 hours a day.

For me it is not very important, especially since ultimately it will be built in a cabinet with its own fans. Although I don't like the PV voltage, I have the panels connected in parallel, which gives ~33VDC. I would have to switch to a serial system and again this does not suit me for the auxiliary power supply (24V). I'll browse the internet some more, maybe I'll find something decent. This Sanyu has MPPT 30-80V so maybe...

So, looking through other offers and models, I will probably take a chance on this one; https://allegro.pl/oferta/gf1000-inwerter-off-grid-1000w-24vdc-ladowarka-m-11564035994 The parameters suit me perfectly and the price. It will also fit into the control cabinet without major rearrangements :D . What do you think? Is it worth it?

The one from Alle has 950 W, a bit low in my opinion.

From the panels I have 0.825kW max. with the impossibility of expansion due to technical reasons. Needs are about 400W.

It caught my eye, so I bought it. It fits perfectly in terms of current and voltage and at a decent price.

Which one do you want to buy, PWM or MPPT?

With the power I have, PWM is out of the question. This GF-1000/24 probably has an MPPT controller, although I can't find it anywhere in the manual. I don't want PWM, especially since maybe in a month I will buy a little more AGM batteries and it would be a shame to destroy them with PWM, I don't trust such regulators.

I don't think I saw whether it was MPPT or even whether it had a full sine.
Typical budget PWM for small 1-2 panel installations, but I don't know if it destroys batteries.

Half an hour ago I was in the basement to check in my control room, the tracers had 5A boosted to 10A, 300W of consumption and that's it :)

So I bought this GF-1000/24. When it reaches me, first there will be a section and an article about it, and until spring it will work on temporary 2x74Ah Pb batteries. Later he will have something to do with 4x100Ah AGM. Maybe I can arrange cheap alkaline ones in the meantime :D .

Phew... There was an inverter. Delivery was supposed to take 10-15 business days by courier, as the deadline is expiring (I bought it on January 13), I wrote to the seller today and asked if it was sent. And he politely replies that; I'm sorry, this product is not in stock... Well, q...a! Couldn't you have written one earlier? I would understand, it has happened several times that I bought something and after a short time the seller informed me that he was very sorry but the goods were "out of stock". I understand, an oversight or something. If I had found out earlier, I would have looked for another inverter. Ehhh...

Because many people trade in goods that are in stock... but not their own. These are usually 2-week delivery times. I usually don't buy at such auctions because too often the deadline is extended or the transaction is canceled. Your supplier probably also ordered similar goods from someone else's warehouse. Zero investment of funds in the product and zero risk that the product will be sold as a shelf item.

Fortunately, the money came back to me just a moment ago, no one will reimburse me for almost three weeks of preparation for installation. Q...a. On the other hand, @DiZMar, I also do not invest in goods that may be needed once a year. But if something sells, in my opinion it should be in stock? I have prepared the entire switchboard, I just need to connect the cables. Now, if I find another one that matches the parameters, it is doubtful whether the dimensions and the rest will match.

Thanks for the link, but it is too big for me, I have no way of expanding the photovoltaics. This GF1000/24 fits me perfectly. I need to cool down a bit because I'm incredibly tired.
