    Hello everyone
I have recently installed some devices at home via ZigBee and they are operated in the Smart Life app on a smartphone.
As it is a bit cumbersome to operate multiple devices on the phone so I installed an android emulator on Bluestacks PC.
After some compatibility problems it seems that the Smart Life app and also Tuya open on the PC correctly.
However, I would like to know whether re-adding devices in the PC app will disrupt the already existing working network under the control of
    Smart Life on the smartphone...?
As I see it, I have to add the gateway and further devices again on the PC, and I already have a bit of that....hmm
Will all this continue to work simultaneously.... and from the PC and from the smartphone, because I am not clear...?
Wouldn't, for example, "pairing" a gateway with an app on a PC that is already "paired" with a smartphone remove it from the previous app...?
    What does it look like...?

    Greetings
    m

You add devices to your account - if you're logged into the same account they should be visible on every device, no matter which one you've added them in.
P.S. A PC emulator has its drawbacks, perhaps a tablet of some sort is better.

    Thank you for your advice.
I understand.....that is how it logically should be!
I will check that the account matches on both devices.
What are the downsides of working on a PC ...?
I rather the android emulator on PC I don't intend to use for games etc...where performance and speed
is only important for possible applications.
Incidentally there were some problems running Smart Life on Bluestacks and you had to
set to tablet mode on the emulator to get it working right!

    Added after 1 [hour] 24 [minutes]: .

I corrected the account details and indeed it now shows everything on both devices .!!
Unfortunately on the PC when I want to enter the details of a device it.....appears a small bright screen and closes Smart Life.!
On the smartphone everything works fine ....
Assigning devices to rooms works on the PC ...but the aforementioned attempt to enter the settings of any device ends up closing Smart Life...!!!?
Is this just some downside to working on PC ...?

    - such problems unfortunately do happen - perhaps there is a solution (e.g. emulator configuration).
Generally with devices working via the cloud there can be problems - whether with the internet or the manufacturer's cloud itself (there was a sonoff cloud failure recently, and tuya is probably preparing some big changes) - it's worth considering switching to local control (make yourself independent of external services).

In the last month, tuya has not been available at least twice for a few hours at a time.

    - the integration with HA has also changed - now an account on the Tuya IOT Platform is needed, but this works with many bugs (single works ok, double does not report), fortunately the old version is still available and works for now.

it started with me making my radio control "local" for the twilight light switches at home....
but by the time I had put the modules in the boxes it was winter time and I had fitted the radiator heads to the ZigBee system.
As there are quite a lot of various ZigBee devices and sensors and common control from the app I went that way....
I don't even know yet if the ZigBee switch modules will fit in the boxes...?
In my design, the module is the size of a "thumb" so much smaller and ...probably with better proprietary software to resist communication interruptions!
    resistant to communication interruptions!
So far, something is not quite right with the SmartLife, because the programmed additional switches switch off at sunrise, but do not want to
but refuse to switch on at sunset!
I also get messages that a task is not being carried out at a time when I haven't planned anything...hmm
I don't intend to do any extensive "smart" home control for the time being...especially as I can see that trust needs to be limited in the system!
I currently have 5 radiators on the system, 2 sockets and 2 cans test running on the table!
Today I noticed that one radiator did not switch off according to schedule.
By the way, I would like to ask: if, at the moment of switching on/off a device, there is a malfunction in communication, will there be no "correction" until the end of the schedule?
schedule will not be "corrected" ...?

If the control is via the cloud - and it looks like it is (if they are assigned to a SmartLife account) then it's hard to guess what the behaviour will be with transmission problems.
Generally if you already have zigbee then see Home Assistant or AI-Speaker (HA based) - all in-house and much more powerful.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the compatibility of the Smart Life and Tuya apps when used on a PC via an Android emulator (Bluestacks) for managing ZigBee devices. Users express concerns about whether re-adding devices on the PC will disrupt the existing network controlled by the smartphone app. It is clarified that as long as the same account is used, devices should be visible across both platforms without issues. However, users report technical difficulties, such as the Smart Life app crashing on the PC when accessing device settings. There are mentions of potential drawbacks of using an emulator, including connectivity issues and reliance on cloud services, which can lead to intermittent availability. Suggestions include considering local control options and exploring alternatives like Home Assistant for more robust management of ZigBee devices.
