Hi. I want to start with a smart home but I am starting small so I want to make sure....

I have installed led lights in the ceiling, but in order not to ruin the wall I have squeezed the power behind the curtains and taken power from the socket. As I'm trying to save energy, so far I've been using an ordinary zero-one switch in the socket to disconnect the power supply from the leds (the power supply squeaks when the leds are switched off).

To make things easier, I bought a smart socket, one that can be controlled from my phone using the smart life app. But sometimes I would like to have a physical switch for them. There are sockets with a remote control, but I haven't seen any on allegro that have a socket with remote control and control from the phone. There are so-called smart switches. But I don't know if any would actually work with my socket. This is why I am wise after the event and want to find out if it is better to buy a set.

    I bought such a socket https://allegro.pl/oferta/inteligentne-gniazd...-tuya-watomierz-programator-timer-13308295700

And I wonder if this switch will work with this socket of mine since they both support tuya or smart life.

I read somewhere on the internet that a gateway is needed. And I'm here asking someone to help me figure it out, maybe I need to buy another socket or something, and I'm keen to have it controlled via WiFi or just manually with the switch.

If you want to use what's in the link for this 'manual switch' then it will work, but you have to 'write' scenes in the operating software - linking the state of the switch to the corresponding state/change in the socket state.
I've done this in conjunction with radiator thermostats to switch on the central heating furnace and floor pump. It works. You'll do a bit of messing around with these 'scenes' but the satisfaction of beating this program is priceless.
I use SmartHome, but there is also its sister program TuyaSmart. A gateway is needed if you want to manage this over the network from outside the property.
    Greetings.J.
    PS
Acha it all works over Wifi 2,4, you have to set it up properly on your phone, the trouble starts when you have the same names for 2,4 and 5. You have to e.g. disable wifi 5 for the time you add devices to the program or differentiate their names.
