I am before buying my first smart home actuator I am a bit lost in the multitude of these solutions. I don't want to put up a server temporarily due to lack of time to learn :) . So preferably something that also has a cloud. Of such solutions I have found tuya and supla and now the dilemma of what to choose. For now, I need a voltage-free switch for the entrance gate and with a contracton for the garage door. In the future a flood sensor, gas sensor, maybe a motion sensor....
    What do you recommend?

I would also choose Zamela - of these 2 if you want to use WiFi.
For the future, it is better to plan something and go in that direction - there will be less reworking and components to sell or shelve.
If wireless - a system with cheaper components (wireless also have e.g. Satel, Ropam, Grenton, KNX, etc, etc) then maybe Zigbee - it will be easier to get rid of the cloud. If you don't have the time but have the budget - maybe AI-Speaker (Polish project, ready-made based on HA with voice control in Polish) and you can connect devices from different manufacturers - both via Zigbee and via the cloud.

Only as far as I can see there are more actuators on the tuya.... Currently I need 2 voltage free switches (one with reed switch). In time a flood sensor, an LPG sensor.

ok. That's good news. That's another question, is it better to take a voltage free relay powered by DC 5-24V or AC230V? DC seems to be safer for the controlled device in case of failure.

Voltage from 24V drive or socket (need to add a second one). WiFi is there - in the garage an additional AP.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around choosing between Tuya and Supla for smart home actuators and sensors, particularly for a voltage-free switch for an entrance gate and a contactor for a garage door. Users recommend Supla for its practicality, while others suggest considering Zamela for WiFi compatibility. The conversation highlights the importance of planning for future expansions, such as flood and gas sensors, and the potential benefits of using a system that allows integration with various manufacturers through platforms like Home Assistant (HA). The author seeks advice on whether to opt for a voltage-free relay powered by DC 5-24V or AC 230V, with a preference for DC due to safety concerns. Network coverage for WiFi is also discussed, confirming that additional access points are available.
