Hey, I'm building a new house and the question came up from the electrician as to whether we want to do a Smart Home. I generally hadn't thought about it before I did a bit of reading and I know I have two outputs wired and wireless. Can you advise on this? Additionally there are different wired and wireless systems (sanoff, toya, Xiaomi, etc). What do you recommend, what do you advise against? It would be nice to have home control options but not for millions

Make all the electrics in the house into a star, or at least have an electrician run a zero to each switch. You will then be able to install what you want at any time. If there is no zero at the light switches, you will not be able to do anything meaningful. If there is a star, i.e. every socket or switch is connected to the control panel, you will be able to do practically anything at any time. You can use a 12-gauge electrical cube for the wiring connections.

I suppose the electrician had something else in mind; he is unlikely to be interested in what kind of system your house will have. Here you need to think about additional power supply connections, and its control, for example, of roller shutters.
