now it's P4 but once about 2 years ago, it was actually V. and they had pretty cool plans, it's a pity that V. withdrew from PL.

Does anyone know why Play blocks cards in this type of devices? Unfortunately, it happened to me too, and they have a pretty good offer, Orange is also OK, but if the number is not active for some time, a banner pops up in their app that prevents you from checking the account if there is no activity and TM is left, but the one-time validity period is 20 zloty.

Apparently you can't use ordinary sim cards for m2m devices, e.g. alarm control panels, they block the cards and you have to explain yourself later

Since January this year I have been using the plush card (operator plus). I turned on the account validity year and then topped up for PLN 10 and since then it just works. I still have PLN 5.88 on my account, valid until January 14, 2024 - I check the status in the iPlus application.

I use FAKT mobie. Each recharge (min 5 pln) extends the account for 1 year for outgoing and prices are cool (15gr min/sms) I confirm, it works, with no problem you can transfer the number (whether from a subscription or prepaid) from Playa or from another operator, interestingly in the Fakt newspaper there are codes for free packages of minutes, sms and internet.... In general, after topping up with an amount of 5 to 300 pln, the validity of the funds is for 365 days and the validity of the account 425 which, in my opinion, is a revelation. The cost of sms and minutes is 0,15pln rally is not bad. In addition, service from the Play24 application via the web or on the phone. Generally based on the Play network, so the coverage is also fairly ok.

Virgin mobile MINI 3 is enough for me. It costs a whole 3 zlotys :) - 300 MB Lte, 30 text messages, 30 minutes per month. If you run out, 1 GB for PLN 1, 400 text messages for PLN 3.

    What is the situation today?
I will be planning an Integra 64 Plus control panel with an INT-GSM-LTE module.
I have no idea what this amount of data might be.

The amount of data can be omitted, I have an Integra 256+ with an INT-GSM module, an Orange Free pre-paid card, I just checked my account balance and on average I spend less than PLN 3 per month. The system is normally used, logging in via the application, sometimes there is an alarm (SMS), once a month the control panel automatically sends a test SMS to avoid charges for lack of traffic on the SIM account

    Thanks.
Can the account balance be checked without removing the SIM card from the module and without inserting it into the phone?

You create an account on the operator's website and check the balance of funds, billings, etc. online.

It is also worth remembering to set options in the module regarding forwarding received messages to a set number.

What about the validity of the card for outgoing calls? I see that topping up PLN 200 extends the validity by 10 months. So the cost of use is PLN 20 per month. :(
    And not PLN 3.

You can buy a year of validity of the account, I don't remember because I extended it in February, but it was about PLN 8-9 per year.

A2Mobile card (from Plus), and it was supposed to be so beautiful, Satel Integra 64 alarm, unfortunately after using the a2mobile card, the alarm control panel sends notifications about a SIM card error 2-3 times a day and after a few seconds a second notification that everything is OK, and so every day ...
the problem, as it turned out, is that A2Mobile automatically tries to switch to a different transmitter every few hours, as explained by the alarm manufacturer, Satel

anyone encountered this? Is there any way to fix this?

This is what happens when you choose the cheapest offers of virtual operators...

Buy a card from one of the main operators with the best coverage at the installation site.

Because? Some arguments would be useful...

If I understand correctly, the offer is actually not that bad. PLN 5 per month, including 0.5 GB Internet package and 50 SMS,
    Do I understand correctly?

It seems that I was unlucky, many people use it for alarm purposes and it works properly. For me, the offer is unbeatable at PLN 5 per year. Well, I got around it by turning off text messages/notifications about such "failures". The rest of the notifications are active.

I'm surprised by this approach, I've written about it many times on the forum, after all, this system protects your belongings... Is it a pity to spend PLN 5 or 10 a month for this purpose?
Your system probably doesn't send daily test transmissions either - why, because it costs money...

It so happens that PLAY has the best coverage at my place and I would like the card to work on their transmitters.
Does anyone know of PLAY's offerings for the control panel? Possibly a virtual operator that works on their transmitters, but the virtual ones don't seem to have such tariffs.

    Hello,

All depends on which network you have your phone and phones to which you want to send sms notifications (including test transmissions). In order not to pay extra for them, it is best that they are all in Play (free sms to Play).
As for the offer, Play Od Nowa, with the proviso that you recharge 5PLN / month, because otherwise they charge up to 5 PLN / month for inactivity on the account.

    Greetings.

Home phones are on Virgin Mobile, which operate on PLAY's transmitters, perhaps.
There would probably be an SMS fee in this case.
Unless there would be a package of a dozen-something SMS in some tariff.

    And one more thing.
Orange IOT is a typical tariff for such devices, and Play From New is probably a regular phone tariff? Is it OK to use such a SIM card with a "human" rather than "machine" tariff?

PS. And what amounts of data and SMS per month should be expected with a standard alarm system?

In Play From New there is a bundle of 100 sms to "other networks" for 5 PLN, valid indefinitely.

    Yes, that's right.

    Yes.

There is probably no rule for "it". I have been privately using two such cards for more than 10 years with no problems. Of course, I try to recharge them regularly, and not like some 5 PLN per year...

    Robinson74 wrote:

I will not comment on the amount of data, because I do not use. As for sms, with a one-time daily test transmission to one number you already have 30 sms. Of course, the "thrifty" choose transmission once a month or turn it off at all...

    Greetings.

The system sends me daily push notifications on and off standby, in addition to this come notifications of other events, practically every day I use the application, for me this is a sign that the system is working and with the GSM module is also OK.
I do not see the slightest sense that in addition to the above comes to me daily test transmission.
