I don't want to quote because you've produced too much of it @bachin : if you're going to switch to a subscription, and you're running a gosp business then I'd recommend a telemetry tariff. In Play it costs 3,50zł net/month for a package of probably 100SMS and 20MB.
@al-ster : with one PBX you can maybe control periodical SMS 1x/week. But with several...dozen systems, in my case it ended up blocking these numbers. They end up on the phone, but I don't even look at it.
In summary: for me, prepaid cards, after all these evolutions, no longer have a raison d'être in sswn.
PS. because it starts ... "blowing bagpipes" and that will probably be enough on the topic until I find a cool solution. Showing the incompetence of other users through various verbal treatments is not irony, but the duty of everyone on this forum not to scrub the bottom with their level (posts above). That's by the way and good night.

Exactly, and this is a concrete one to check and an idea for a soft on android that will receive text messages, embrace diagnostics and signal when something is actually not working properly. .
The software topic is more for business, as all I need is a sim card with a telemetry tariff, which will close the case.
So thanks for pointing me in the direction, as I would have wasted a day looking.
First search and there you go, "Telemetry card for GPS locator without subscription, without registration". I'm deliberately not giving the exact link so as not to advertise, but it's for 110 zeta alledrogo for 10 years and anyone can find one. I'll ask tomorrow if the switchboard can call from this card without a connection.
.
For those looking for a well-performing prepaid for an alarm or gateway, I recommend the Fakt Mobile tariff, from the newspaper of the same name.... Interestingly, it is Play's virtual operator and you can switch from Play prepaid with one of the tariffs free of charge to Fakt Mobile. The card is valid for a year after each recharge with a minimum amount of 5 pln, for the persistent there are weekly codes in the fakt newspaper for free minutes, sms and internet. Revelation... When I forgot to top up my card they turned it off 15 months after I topped it up for the whole 5p, so seriously, it's a worthwhile offer. I have and have been using it for a couple of years so it's proven so I recommend it.

OK, but how much does it cost per month. In Plus you also have a year of account validity, but apart from the activation for a year for 29 zeta, you incur a monthly fee of 5zł. On top of that there is the cost. Calls and sms, which is 29 cents.
They did this to me today and I'm going to have to work hard to get all my money back, because they charge me 20zł for a return transfer, with absolutely no information that if you don't call from the number, they'll charge you 5zł a month. The starter is printed with unimportant stuff like how many GB of net you get for an extra 30/10/5/£. It's a massacre and it's a wonder that UOKIK doesn't deal with such practices. It was only after the second conversation that it turned out that maintaining a number costs 5PLN. It seems like nothing, but (rhetorical question) why didn't they write that on the starter?
They did this to me today, and you will have to make an effort to get all the money back, because the crafty quality of the 20zł call for a return transfer, with absolutely no information that if you do not call from the number, they will charge you 5zł per month.
As far as Play is concerned, they always send an sms 7 days before the 5 PLN is charged. All you need is to have SMS forwarding active in the GSM module to your number .
And the latest module and the alarm for less than 2-3k and the handover and the handover helper and the helper add-on. Of course, you can complicate everything to the limit, like our system, e.g. tax system, but that is why Americans fly into space and Poles erect monuments, because apparently everything can be done, but it costs time, mistakes, failures, because there is an additional complication. A hammer can also be equipped with an electronic GSP and impact control system, but the question is why. So please don't clutter up this thread if you want to keep on trotting out points, because it's impossible to read anymore and no offence, but that's not what I'm asking and it's not the point at all.
As for the operator Fact I bought a card (another one) Play they recommended, because it was supposed to be clear, simple and to the point with the code *163*12# to switch from Play to Fact, but as the lady just now (because no one mentioned it before) said there has been a problem with it for a month because I get the message "Service temporarily unavailable", therefore the above. (it's about the monuments), and it was supposed to be so beautiful, such a "green island", but that's from a different area of text and topic. .
As for the Fact itself, you can in theory (this is the information I got) enter a contact number to which a text message is sent when a checkout or validity expires and this is a concrete one that does not generate costs and, above all, is less prone to failure and not working. You don't have to change alarms, configure etc. etc., which makes life much simpler.
PS. When something finally works straightforwardly, I will describe it, but without replacing the control panel, GSM module or that kind of unnecessary investment, because it has to be clear, simple, cheap and to the point.
I personally recommend the Orange IoT card
In my opinion the best card
.
I don't know what makes you think that. You have to buy a multitude of such cards to have one just for texting. This misses the point.
One card is the cheapest for 200 PLN for a year, you can top it up once. You make calls, send text messages and use the Internet, within the limit, of course.
What about the operator Fact I bought a card (another one) Play they recommended, because it was supposed to be clear, simple and to the point with the code *163*12# to switch from Play to Fact, but as the lady just now (because no one mentioned it before) said for a month there is a problem with it, because I get the message "Service temporarily unavailable", therefore the above. Coincidentally, 2 weeks ago (26 Feb 2025) I needed 2 consecutive activations on Fakt Mobile for alerts (due to the validity of the number 15 months after topping up for 5 pln, and the validity of the funds 365 days). Fakt mobile has good coverage because it is based on the Play network and possible roaming.
And so it happened that I was once again migrating to Fakt Mobile, but one step at a time.
- I bought the cheapest prepaid starter in Play for 5PLN
- The next important step in changing to Fakt mobile is that you first need to change your tariff to Play na Kartę 3.0 (migration to Fakt mobile is supposedly only possible from this tariff - unfortunately). I completed the change in 2 ways - tested and worked without a problem - I changed the first number via the Play24 app on my smartphone, and on the second number with codes.
I experienced technical problems in autumn when I tried to buy another Fakt Mobile starter. There were no starters available, and the friendly consultant said that it was impossible to migrate because there had been an outage for a month and it was impossible. I ended up trying to find the codes to migrate.
-From the Play na Kartę 3.0 tariff I migrated to Fakt mobile without any hassle and using the app on my phone and the code *163.... something there.
- after receiving an sms with information about the tariff change and displaying on the phone that it is in the Fakt network, I topped up for 5 PLN, made 1 3-second call to get something off the balance and received an sms about the topping up and about the validity of the account for 365 days.
- out of curiosity, I bought 1GB of data for 3 PLN per month to see how it works (the card installed for tests in a Satel GPRS-A module with connected temperature sensors such as DS18b20 plus enabled push notifications, and after a week I've only consumed a few megabytes, so I'm very pleasantly surprised by the performance of the internet in Fakt)
And as I wrote I did not call the consultants to change the tariff , just on one number through the application on the other by codes and it works without any problem.
>>21475858 .
So to recap: an SMS and one minute of calls costs 15gr. Counting 10/month we have the cost of 18 PLN/year.
If we also use any data transmission (even the smallest one), we have to pay extra 3 PLN/month = 36 PLN/year.
Nowhere in the offer of Fakt did I find the cost of data outside the package, i.e. how much we will pay if we don't buy the package (or exceed it) and start sending data! So we can quickly lose money on our account and block any traffic!
Am I wrong about something?
I am not denying the proposal, just making you aware.
You can save 5zeta :]
In Playu, you have to ask for a free starter:
.
This card is converted to "Play Na Kartę 3.0" - free of charge.
We punch in the code:
*163*12# + green to go to Fakt Mobile.
Read point 6b of the offer.
Continue, cash in the card e.g. 5 zeta/year, cash in the internet and code for the internet package.

This offer is primarily for internet - small amounts for small packages.
If you only have funds on your card (for calls and texts) - you have no internet.

Exactly right, I mainly use as a clip notification plus SMS type alarm or as a 'gate opener' then it works perfectly. It all depends on the customer. If the customer has a "snake in his pocket" then Fakt is ideal. You can also download promotional codes (for readers) from the Fakt newspaper or the internet and top up minutes, SMS and internet, but don't overdo it.
Besides, it is probably one of the few tariff plans where you have a year of account validity after a top-up for 5 zlotys; it used to be the case with Play na kartę, but that was a long time ago and not true.
I always try to make them aware that there may be an action that they will run out of funds because they should remember and control it, but a few times after such an action and complaints that the notification does not work were bought SIM cards with subscription and then there is peace.
Have you ever had a situation where the SIM card in the subscription did not work in the control panel, but did in another device (regular modem, phone, tables)? I have a data sim card from an old subscription of one network, the control panel doesn't even seem to have an SMS sending function. And either I had problems with arming, or - when I found and inserted a card from the other network - it switches to the other card. And now I'm wondering if it's a matter of faulty worth, use not in accordance with the terms and conditions or maybe the PBX is faulty....
And more on topic - to test the renewal tariff in playu, keeping an eye on the top-up every month slightly annoying. I know it guards possessions, but still any subscription option a lot simpler. You sit down to make your payments (rent, electricity, gas, water, whatever), pay one more invoice and that's it. Or, if you can, hook it up to your phone invoice (if you have a subscription) and problem solved. But in fact, I think Fact is the best ...
