Good day
In my flat I have an installation with light switches without a neutral wire. I currently have Zigbee modules plugged in series with LED bulbs that do not require a neutral wire to work. The switches work fine. However, I would like to replace the regular lighting with Zigbee RGBW bulbs and add Sonoffs mini in the boxes under the switches. Both units should be permanently powered. Is there any way to power the bulb and the Sonoffs in series from 230V? Unfortunately I don't have the option of replacing the installation. I was thinking of using two diodes so that each device is powered from one half of the mains:
Both devices have inverters inside and should operate powered by half the voltage. Has anyone tried powering two devices connected in series to 230V?
Thank you and best regards,
Macfis
