    Hello,

I apologize in advance if I have put the topic in the wrong place as I should.
Back to the topic, could someone please advise what kind of Tuya 230 v extension relay to choose, so that a bell button can be connected to it and the relay connects directly to the Tuya doorbell?
More specifically, the issue is that
in the Tuya doorbell set, there is an original small button which I do not want to mount on the facade. I'm wondering if it's possible to put a Tuya relay in the box under an ordinary doorbell switch already fitted, so that when the switch is pressed it sends a signal to the Tuya doorbell fitted in the socket in the room, and incidentally sends information to the telephone that someone has called in the event of absence of the occupants of the house.
    Of course I have a Zigbee/WiFi gateway.
I've searched the web for a suitable relay, but there are quite a few of these and I haven't the foggiest idea which will work. Maybe someone already has a similar experience or more knowledge on the subject, I would be happy to take a hint.
Thank you in advance for your help.

You won't do this with a Tuya relay. They serve as actuators, and here you need detection.

And what could be the solution to this? There are tuya touch switches, but the question is whether they are 230 volts so that they do not run on batteries. When I search for a solution on the web, I get confused because there is a lot out there. Unfortunately I couldn't find a normal tuya bell switch like a standard electric one, so I was thinking of a button relay.

You can use a junction box switch plugged into the bell in series with the bell, and connect a bell switch under the usually marked "S1" or "S2". If you are removing the regular bell, you will of course connect the switch without it.

I need to work out what you have written quietly 😁
As a last resort I will use a tuja wireless button, but I would like to avoid this due to the fact that it will be outside and it is known how the battery will cope in winter.

    There are two solutions:
1 - Adaptation of the Tuja remote control so that the relay separates the 230 V from the remote control circuits. Such a detector.
2 - Pillow switch used under light switches. The question is how exactly a given switch model will behave when leaving a normal bell in the installation.

I will try at ease about something maybe it will surprise me. Thank you again.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around integrating a Tuya Smart doorbell with an aftermarket relay to connect a traditional doorbell switch. The user seeks advice on selecting a suitable 230V Tuya relay that can work with an existing doorbell switch, allowing it to send notifications to a smartphone when pressed. Responses indicate that standard Tuya relays may not be suitable for this purpose as they function as actuators rather than detectors. Suggestions include using a junction box switch in series with the bell or adapting a Tuya remote control to separate the 230V from the remote circuits. The user expresses concern about battery-operated solutions due to potential winter performance issues.
