    Hi,

My machine, a Zanussi ZDT21001FA, does all the washing process without heating the water.

This is all the information from the machine:
    Typ: GHE623DA2
    PNC: 911 539 136 03

    PCB
    COMPUTIME CODE: ELED171
    ELECETRLOUX CODE: A00621404 A
    FW: P300R102
    BACK: ED17160703989

I open the machine and looking into the PCB saw a capacitor burned. Close-up of a damaged circuit board with a burned capacitor visible. Zanussi ZDT21001FA Dishwasher Not Heating - Burned Capacitor on PCB Identified

I saw some people on the internet with the same problem and one guy that solved this changing the capacitor and the triac: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nOP1OChspo however my triac, after checking with multimeter looks good.

So if my triac is ok, only the C from the RC Snubber burned: Circuit diagram featuring a triac and RC Snubber components. and I can't understand why it won't work without the RC Snubber. I can solder a new capacitor and check if it solves the problem, do you think it will?

Should I check other elements on the machine? If yes, which ones?

    Thank you

It may work without the RC snubber, but prepare your popcorn because there will be fireworks ;)

Yesterday I installed the RC snubber and it still didn't work. I decided to open it up to start checking if there were other parts involved, and when I removed the front part, the cable connecting the temperature sensor was unplugged.

I sent the machine to a repair shop, paid for the tests, but then I decided not to proceed with the repair. Did they leave the cable unplugged on purpose, or was it just because they were testing the machine and forgot to reconnect it? I will never know!

Ok, so check the sensor and plug in the cable and maybe it will work.
