This is a generic Tuya G9 LED smart bulb. The device looked interesting and I haven't seen any teardowns on the internet for bulbs of this form factor. I didn't even know G9s were a thing. I was hoping for some exotic new module perhaps. I do not have any light fixtures for the G9 to plug into so it would need wiring up for testing.

Unfortunately, the main body is ceramic, presumably because of the heat potential, and so getting it apart proved impossible without breaking it.

in my haste to peel off the main flexible LED skin around the body, I didn't notice the top lid had stuck back down, so I sheered that off! 😡

So, a standard BK7231N CBLC5 module. I unsoldered that and hooked up 3v3 and GND to an external power source. Ground shared with a USB-TTL and pogo pins used to get the boot log from TX2.

fw version 1.5.32 so not cloudcuttable, which is a shame because I'm not sure this is a goer for cutting off from the cloud otherwise. Maybe the glue holding the ceramic base in can be dissolved somehow in a solvent.

Factory fw dump attached. Easy Flasher extracted the config without issue

Sadly ripping off its lid was catastrophic so the LEDs do not light. OBK boots fine though.

    Interesting disassembly.

What function does the assembly terminal have?
    Does power reach the board?

well, OpenBeken boots and works, so that's 3.3v at least

    I'm sorry. I hadn't read correctly.
    Greetings.
