    Hello

My dear Polish friend has a Technicolor CGA2121 from the internet company netiaonline.pl. This router was set in Bridge mode by mistake. I try to put it back to router mode.

I try to push the Reset button, but I push in the hole, and it is like no switch is without end ^^ or this button is broken or Netia Online removed this button.

I don't know on what IP address I can log in to set it back to Router.. :( In router mode, the IP address was 192.168.0.1. Now it doesn't work. I tried many different IP addresses by connecting my PC computer by Ethernet wire to the Ethernet of the Technicolor CGA2121. I did an ipconfig /renew = I have internet on the laptop, but it is impossible to connect to the setting page of the Technicolor CGA2121.

Please, dear friends, can you help to get back to Router mode? My Polish friend has some handicap to talk and write; I'm trying to help him. Hope you can help us.

    Best regards

    Alex

In the worst case, maybe there is an application or software that can help to connect and reset all or switch from Bridge to Router?

    Thank you

You must hold the reset button, for at least 30 seconds.
Then release the reset button, and leave the router alone for 10 minutes.
The router will be reset to factory settings, and will return to the default settings.
This means, that it will automatically set itself to the router.
All settings necessary for the Internet to work, will be downloaded automatically.

    192.168.0.1 - router
    192.168.100.1 - modem

    .
If you want to use another device as a VPN server, Technicolor should be in bridge mode. NAT with VPN is not a good connection and can sometimes cause problems.
If you want a VPN, leave it in bridge mode.
