    Welcome.

How Google Home works I know and use. But how does Home Assistant work?

And which aspect of operation are you interested in? These are very elaborate platforms, you could also write a book :) .

And all in all, it's a fad of mine, because since IoT works for voice in the car, (and I just have the HA icon there), I don't think I need anything else. Well, unless there's something better, different out there.

And that is an apology. I was writing in acronyms.
I have a bunch of smart devices at home. I control them at home using either
Google Home and with Google Assitant.
It works fine. It also works in conjunction with the radio in the car. But I only have the Home Assistant icon on the radio. I don't have Google Home because I don't think it works with Android Auto.
So that's where this topic comes from, whether it's worth playing around with Home Assistant.
