Hello everyone,
My Fiesta comes with a factory-installed BRC system with a Fly SF ECU. I need to connect to it for diagnostics. I found the connector in the engine bay, and I’ve read online that it essentially communicates via the K-line.
I tried connecting using my Vgate vLinker FS OBD adapter, which supports the K-line, with VCC and GND also connected, but it doesn’t communicate with the BRC Sequent software. I’ve tried all possible baud rates, the COM port is correct, and the drivers are properly installed (the OBD adapter works fine otherwise).
Do you have any suggestions? I’ve seen some people doing it with a KKL adapter.
Here’s an image of the setup
AI: Which version of the BRC Sequent software are you using?
Plug & drive 3.08.02
AI: Have you tried using a KKL adapter as mentioned, and if so, what was the result?
No, I used the vlinker since I have a Ford and it works with forscan
