    Hi
About 2 weeks ago I put together a home monitoring kit for myself on Hikvision components, the question is why the system forgets my motion detection setting?
I set the grid on the cameras in the settings, and after a while it loses the grid and detection schedule.
    Hilook NVR-8CH-5MP DVR
    Hilook IPC-B180HA-LUF/SL cameras - 3 pieces
    Hikvision DS-2CD1043G2-LIU camera - 1 camera
    Hikvision DS-2CD2087G2-LU camera - 1pc
    PTZ-N2C400M-DE - 1 pc.
    all connected on Hikvision switch

With this DS-2CD2087G2-LU camera I still have such a problem that when changing the OSD an error 0xffffffff pops up when I want to save the settings, e.g. after changing the camera description.

Because this type has so :) .
Like everything Chinese it has bugs in the software ( and holes for their government), of course fixes are missing.
I also struggled with detection on hikvision, after a week I gave up, it either lost the config or after 2-3 days it stopped working.

Where did you buy these cameras?
Advertise them as soon as possible.

In a shop in Krakow, why do I need to advertise them as soon as possible? Can you elaborate?

If you bought online, you only have 14 days to return, and you wrote that you bought 2 weeks ago. Maybe the deadline hasn't passed yet?

I bought from a stationary shop. Tell me why they need to be advertised? What happens to them?

After all, you yourself describe that they lose their settings. They probably have some problem in the software.
Are they from European or Chinese distribution?
I have never had such problems with Hikvision.

They lose but only from traffic, rather Polish distribution, I write rather because the only certainty is that I will have to pay taxes.... I am asking here for the time being out of curiosity if anyone has had a problem, after Christmas I will write to the support to the shop. Perhaps a problem in the registrar.

    .
Nothing like putting unconditional trust in a salesman....
    Time zone, region selected correctly?
Disable auto check and download updates, auto time sync on each camera.
Helpful post? Buy me a coffee.

Well, if that's the case... Then who should I put my trust in? not necessarily without condition...
UTC +1, region I do not know how to check
synchronisation disabled, updates I don't know how to disable

Do I understand this correctly? Should I disable access to hikconnect?

Once again... Should I disable hikconnect in the settings?
What about accessing the monitoring via the internet?
I am supposedly using the hilooka app 🤔.
But I prefer to ask right away.

    Disable Hikconnect on the cameras.
Leave Hikconnect enabled on the DVR.

I think I may have misunderstood the whole thing a bit, I mean the system, in the preview the grid disappears after a while, but all in all the cameras show detection when necessary. So I'm not dragging the subject any further, thanks for your efforts and help. I will contact you again if I have any problems. Thank you for now.
