    Hello dear forum,

Unfortunately, my parents' Philips 65OLED705 suddenly won't turn on anymore.

A bit about me: I've repaired smartphones and laptops before, and I would really like to repair this TV myself as well.

I hope you can help me identify the issue and suggest the tools I’ll need for the repair... I would be truly grateful!

    Now about the device:

When the TV is plugged into power, it automatically turns on. The Philips logo appears and disappears again after a few seconds.
The standby LED blinks erratically and wildly – there’s no clear pattern, it just flashes extremely fast.
It doesn’t respond at all to inputs from the physical button or the remote control.
The only way to turn it off is by unplugging it from the power source.

Do you have any idea what could be wrong?
If more info is needed (e.g., a dump): How can I extract that?

I’ve also attached pictures of the inside of the display.

The warranty has expired due to the age of the device.

    Thank you very much!

    Best regards,
    Phil

You have to be prepared for the fact that OLEDs can be virtually unrepairable, 90% of the cases in OLEDs are the panel itself which has a short circuit and simply the protection shuts down the panel to prevent ignition. You can try uploading firmware via USB called Upgrade_Loader
