about 10k sip

Hi, I am doing a project where I need to use an 8 pin 10k sip , near the ports of the microcontroller. But I can find only 9 pin sips. so place let me is there any way to use this 9 pin sip in the place of the 8 pin (i mean by cutting the common terminal or any other way). thanks in advance

Depending on how your using the resistors, you should still be able to use them in the circuit. Do you have an explanation of how you need to use it?

Im doing a project of digital ic tester. and this requires 3 sips placed at each of the ports in use i.e., for keyboard, lcd and zif socket used for the ic under test. I have seen that both are completely different in that 8pin has got all isolated resistor(4 in number) combinations and 9pin has got all the resistors connected to a common teeminal(8 in number). so I think i cant use this 9 pin here. But can I make combination of 4 10k resistors placed in its position.Or can I just leave the sip and continue connecting the circuit? Any help is admirable. thanks in advance

They common joined at one end that comes down to the 9th pin, so you cannot seperate them. If you need discreate(individual) resistor lines, then you will need to use the 8-pin sip. if they are just needed to add a 10k as a pull up to VCC or a pull down to ground, then the 9 pin can be used to make a common point.
