Car Blinker Electronics

Hello, newbie here, I have made a LED stop light for Renault Megane, and I have a problem here...Ummm, as you see there is a plexilass bar and behind it some red LED's. I want to put some yellow LED's behind the same bar and I need a piece of electronics that will turn the red LED's off when the blinker (orange LED) is turned on. I was thinking about some sort of timer that when it gets the signal from the blinker turns a relay on that breaks the circuit for the red LED's and let's say it has a delay of for example one second (so the red light would stay off) and as long as it gets the signal from the blinker it resets and starts the timer over and over again. And when you turn the blinker off, the timer counts it's one second and lets the red light on again...
So let's put it simple, the power comes from the car the same as before, it's just the regular light bulbs are replaced with LED strips. We have a red light that turns on when we turn on the lights on the car, and a yellow light on the same place, and the red light needs to turn off so the yellow light would be more visible. When the blinker turns on the yellow LED's blink normally, but it has a parasite piece of electronics that breaks the red light circuit as long as it gets the signal from the blinker, but has a timer that holds the relay open so the red wouldn't turn on. When the blinker stops, the timer doesn't get the reset signal and it holds it's time and then lets the current flow...simple as pie... ...I hope my explanation isn't too confusing.
if someone could explain me how to make that piece of electronics I would greatly appreciate that, thanx...

No such thing as simple in car electronics How much do you understand Lets put this another way what level could you cope with , Transistors , Micro's , Could you put your own pcb design together Could you write software for a chip Would you know how to connect a relay to a transistor, fet for example , would you understand how to set your current through the led’s

Now is Not so simple anymore is it !! Unless someone actually designs the circuit for you , makes the PCB , assembles this for you , writes the instructions on how to put this all together and then finally who pays for that persons time whilst they do this for you and what price would you think would be fair to achieve this for you How many could you sell and how much time would you think this might take

Its sounds really mean, cruel , yes i know it is but thats the price you pay for being born Time is money and knowledge is what you need to put this all together That takes years in some cases a lifetime

And woeful as this seems which it is even love you pay for Your wife cost you money I whish we could kill all of them off but we cant which is also quite sad because wed save so much money it would be worth it It would as well and kids have to be paid for and i whish we could shoot all of them but alas we cant which is truly a great shame Simply to be aloud to live you cost money and so you have to pay again and work , terrible I know awfully horrible , cruel , sad probably going to get very annoyed Don’t blame you , probably going to lose your temper and have 50 000 terrible fits , I know but that’s life boring, boring and rotten

Nothing comes for nothing anymore Everyone has to work Everyone has bills to pay and no one unless of course you happen to be a millionaire can afford to put all of this, no matter how simple, together for nothing Those days are long gone and well and truly over my friend

Nothing is ever that simple and if it were wed all be millionaires Governments don’t allow people not to pay bills They want taxes and rates and rents and electric , gas , roads tax , building taxes with all the other many things that people take for granted even the DHSS and doll cues are coming to an end as too will low wages We try to help where we can but some where someone in your equations has to invest money in order to deliver you what you want That takes education and teachers who teach , lecturers who lecture , building that you sit in have to be paid for

Its a sad fact of life Everything you do has to be paid for

There is no such thing as free

Alot of people may think so but unfortunately they have few shocks coming to them in one form or another They will have to go to work unless of course they are dying ill or physically unable too Then that becomes an entirely different matter So unfortunately for the lijes of the Daves of this world and other persons I really hate to say this They going force them back to work whether they like it or not

Even the net is not free although you can learn at your own pace even then you have to take time upload text and that is paid for a by a coimmunications company who in turn bill the cleint who in turn redeems this cost via public taxes , rates and has to make enough money to pay some bill of some kind at the end of all this

Terrible but alas that is life im afraid also very much dependant on knowledge as well

No money in the world can buy someone’s else’s life No one can ever own a person that’s one commodity that no one will ever have May think so but alas the days of slavery are also well and truly over even for the queen of England yes alas she too has to pay for her own personal bills as to the president of the united states or another country in the world No matter how big they think they are or how powerful or what ever it is they presume They have to pay bills and that also means that anything you want done also has to be paid for

Thanks for an elaborate answer, but I didn't ask for a life lesson, I asked for something that everybody who has a bit of know-how in electronics can make. I kinda know how it should work but I don't know enough, that's why I asked for it on the forum where people that know stuff share the knowledge with people who don't know as much...If I knew it I would gladly share it with others, just as I am glad to share how I made this light with anybody who's interested in it...I'm making it for myself, not to sell it on or something like that, 'couse I'm a DIY guy...so if anybody else is interested in making this 'complicated' piece of electronics for me (for free) I would appreciate that...

It does take time to put things like this together but if you feel this is a very quick easy answer then possibly the best route is to go to as many websites as you possibly , learn all the basics first and then by that stage you will at least know some of the fundamentals that are required to put this all together and then people will be able to assist you a bit further but at present what you are asking for like many people is someone to put this is altogether for you for free so I will I will re iterate this for you

Time is money
We don’t have that time on our hands unless this is paid for
Just like you we all have to go to work to pay bills and no one can afford to sit around doing this for nothing anymore as much as we would like to help you

I don’t think that’s being unfair or unkind at all At present I cant even get the manufacturers of certain makes of products to co operate with business so If they refuse to co operate and we have to sit their and work through some of the most advanced technology trying to give people answers then we certainly don’t have much time on pour hands

Finally if you really wanted to know how to do this you would be that interested you would find out as much as you could yourselves that means by now you would actually be able to do this or at least have some idea of how too

Points don’t mean prizes either you can go do that at MacDonald’s hamburgers they like their little stars thats if you can afford to get yoursel;f a takeaway these days which looking at the number of obease people in the world That might be just a good idea to see them closed as well

At this rate you wont have any jobs or future prospects in electronics nevermind any bussinesses left if you carry on with this attitude

Personally I couldn’t care less about points so you can take off a few more if you like for that comment as well I’m more interested in how they intend to solve these problems , jobs , employment , and where the money is going to come from

So if you have those answers and you feel this can all be done for nothing and will pay bills then let me know will you that includes subtracting or adding points from scores Easy as that

Mark, I understand where you're coming from, that's all fair, if you ask someone to build something for you than their time and knowledge should be compensated for let's say money...but again, I'm asking for someone to do a good deed, because as a student I don't have much of the so called cash. I know fundamentals of electronics, and my solution is to make some kind of timer that resets itself, but how to make a timer, that's beyond me, I know it can be made with a capacitor that we make to recharge in a second, but I don't know if that kind of timer is suitable for this particular situation. I'm also looking for other solutions on the web, but the time is what I don't have since the school takes most of it and the rest goes to this build. I'm sorry if we got off on the wrong foot, but help is what I need and what I'm asking for, if you're willing to do this for me, I would be very thankful, if not, again, thank you for your time.
