Bluetooth Power Switch

I'm designing a control panel that be interfaced via Bluetooth. For security purposes, we would like the option of turning the Bluetooth on and off via a remote contact. Preferably, something that is economical and easy to set up that goes between the device and the atennea. Granted this may likely degrade the Bluetooth signal strength however the equipment will be just out.of reach. By using a power switch on the atennea would not require anyone to use a ladder and would not require anyone to go inside the panel to activate the Bluetooth. 

The Bluetooth atennea has a micro USB connector and must be listed/recognized by United States standards. Bonus points for if manufactured in the United States. 

Not sure what you are saying in the second paragraph, the blue tooth antenna isn't USB, it will either have a chip antenna on the PCB, or an external SMA connector typically.
The bluetooth board may well have a USB connector, but that is for data and control purposes.
If you really want to switch the antenna, this usually means using an RF coaxial relay, which you can buy commercially, or you can make one up on a PCB using solid state, MEMs, or mechanical relays. I wouldn't recommend that, since it requires a good understanding of RF components and PCB layout at 2.5GHz. In any case, if the board has a chip antenna, this is not an option.
Turning the bluetooth system off could be achieved by sending the appropriate software command via USB. Depending on the bluetooth board, you may have access to GPIO pins on the processor, which again, by the use of additional code, could be used to turn it on and off.
Without knowing more details, it is hard to know what to suggest.
Post a conceptual block diagram of the whole system.

The Bluetooth antenna plunges into the relay via a micro USB jack. The panel enclosure will be steel so I need to extend the antenna to mount on the exterior of the enclousure. I'd like to if possible, to put the switch inline to limit access t o relay for security reasons.

All of the connection will likely reduce its range but that's not an issue.
