I am looking to deconstruct a circuit board which uses a USB to provide power and instead pair it with a lightning charger used in iPhones. Can anyone point me in the right direction or connect me with someone who might be able to. I know this is broad, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would be inclined to just purchase something like this....

If I were going to make something I'd look at this site
https://www.theiphonewiki.com/wiki/Lightning_ConnectorIt implies that you can get the 5V by tapping into pins 1 and 5 but the data connections are more complex. Actually, after reading the explanation of how lightning works, I'm much more inclined to buy something that does the job.
