    Hi All

    I have a Kingston Micro USB drive 256GB - it stopped working and not getting recognized by anything - "No Media" message in Disk management.

    Is there any possibility to do anything with it like flashing - I googled and tried various downloads - not having much luck. Not found anything that does the flashing.

    I understand that you don't care about the content. You know the controller model - you can look for a tool for it on usbdev.ru or flashboot.ru. The controller is popular, so finding the tool shouldn't be a problem. However, don't expect the repair to last. There's a lot to be said about these Toshiba's, but reliability can't be faulted.

    >>21722832 Thanks, the data is not important, it was mostly an empty. I tried the page on the site you suggested before, tried one or two downloads. Hard to tell if I am picking up the right thing to download though. Nothing seems to actually do anything when I run it. One tool has a greyed out "Start" button. It's not important, I just wanted to see if it could be resurrected even if for a short while.

    You can try using the Phison MPALL v3.72 tool specifically for PS2251-19 controllers; it sometimes revives “No Media” drives if the NAND isn’t fully dead.

    Just make sure to match the firmware version exactly to your chip ID before flashing.
