Hello everyone 🙂 I am an electrician
I am an electrician, I do installations in detached houses.
There are customers who ask about various smart controls....
I looked a bit on the internet and noticed that on something like Raspberry pi you can do quite sensible house control (blinds, light, gate, photovoltaic control).
What do you think, is it worth to learn it and give it to customers, or is Raspberry such a "wirework" and it is better to go in for typical intelligent installations e.g. Loxon ?
Obviously the price is in favour of the raspberry, but how does it work? No failures?
And what if the customer does not want a whole smart home, but, for example, wants to manage energy from the PV installation, charging the storage, charging the car and heating the water. Then I guess professional devices like Loxon or KNX are form over substance
I'd be grateful for your help 🙂
