TV mainboard 17MB130S with visible ports, connectors, and circuit components Hi I'm in search of firmware for my TV. It started updating and it got stuck. The TV is turned off, the red LED is blinking slowly and the screen is black and I can't get past this. I tried everything and I got here asking for the firmware to try updating it remotely!

AI: Can you tell us what recovery methods you've already tried, like using a USB stick with firmware, button combinations, or accessing any service menus?
Tried unplugging it, then holding power button; tried holding power button on remote; I tried plugging in USB with a part of files that I found here on this site but did not work.
AI: Do you know what firmware version was on your TV before the update got stuck, or do you have any info about the previous software?
    I have no info, unfortunately.

I have it from Telefunken. Same motherboard and same panel. If the remote control doesn't work anymore, use one from Telefunken. Try it at your own risk. It installs with the OK key.

The files you provided, which I thank you very much, are enough for an update, but I need the full firmware recovery including the panel version.

I gave you the full software. You don't need the panel profile unless the image is not correct. If you install it the TV should work. Did you install it?
How did you proceed with the installation?

Looks like we had the same update. My OK ODL 49650UV-TIB got an update yesterday and has the same symptoms.

Could someone please explain the update procedure?

    Hello there.
It seems the files have been deleted in the meantime. Could someone please upload them again?

Hi, I had to change the whole motherboard. I found one from Horizon 17MB230s; it also works and it is smoother than the original one. The old motherboard did not boot the USB device.

Topic summary

LABEL_AI_GENERATED
The discussion concerns a TV firmware recovery problem after a failed update on an OK ODL 49650UV-TIB with Vestel 17MB130S motherboard and VES490QNDL-2D-N11 panel. The TV remains black with a slowly blinking red LED and does not boot. A Telefunken firmware package for the same motherboard and panel was shared, with instructions to install it using the OK button on a compatible Telefunken remote. The firmware was described as complete software, but the panel profile was said to be unnecessary unless the image is incorrect. Later, the files were reported as deleted, and the topic ended with the owner replacing the mainboard entirely with a Horizon 17MB230S board, which booted from USB and worked better than the original.
