How to get a reliable online status / heartbeat of a OBK device in ioBroker?

I am using three of these devices: 8-channel relay. They all receive/send their data via MQTT. Most of the "basic" information (like chip temperature, RSSI, but also connected status) is transmitted only on startup (I guess?). Changes in channels may be rare as well, either because a room isn't heated at all or because the thermostat is set to "full".

These days one of the controllers hung up, which resulted in inactive actuators and a significant temperature drop in the apartment.
Now I am wondering, how to get a reliable heartbeat / online status signal from the device. In the webpage, for example, I can see values like chip temperature or RSSI of the wifi signal changing constantly. How can I access these values from my home automation system (ioBroker in my case)? Or can the device itself send a "hello, I'm alive!" signal like every few minutes, via MQTT or whatever ioBroker can access.

    Flag 2?
It would send device state every minute.
